Halloween Three!!!

Yep, once again, tomorrow is October, and that means the grand Shmegalamonga tradition of the Halloween horror review fest has rotated back around!

Halloween 1, was the 80's slashers.

The YEAR Of Hembock!

Another summer gone, let's look back.

So, it's the year anniversary of "The Summer Of Hembock", making it a whole year of me being a self-published author.

And a year of Harry being out there, exposed to the world.

So, how has it gone?
Meh.
Nothing really new event wise.
My outlook is a bit different, a goal is accomplished, but my routine ticks along, and the work continues.

Oh, yeah, there was this...

This was also the trial run to work out all the little technical kinks for the next thing...

And that "next thing", is Jade-Shade.
Which is a pretty big deal, since it's the thing I want to build my future career around.
So, keep watching that.

I guess everything else I wanted to say about the books was already covered in the individual thingies, so, let's gather those up.
Again.
But with different chapter titles to make it easier to navigate.
And with some other milestones thrown in to round it out.

I saw 8 fucking movies in the coolest movie summer in a long time.

I saw enough movies period to sprout an extra En-Mike-lopedia volume.

And finally...

We lost our cat, Digby, to a urinary tract blockage. :-(

Almost made it.
Aaaalmsot made it.
The past 7 years, we've had a fucking tragedy.
It's always something, and we almost made it through this time.
Dammit.

So, there's another one to remember for good and bad.
Let's see if the next one can be sadness free.

Hmm, life, tech stuff, the lessons the books teach, the things Harry predicted, the artwork, influences, starting to run out of angles to cover this series from....

Well, talked a bit about it here, but I guess I can talk about the rebellion of the act of making these.

And, that goes all the way back to the "bummies", story.

Read that story again, and know that it didn't make me think "oh, I've got to fall in line!", it made me think "shit, 12 years of this? This is going to be a long fucking haul".
And, it was!!

"Bummies", was defiance, and my life and art since then has been a continuance of that moment of defiance.

Authority is to be defied.
These are horrible people that want to control your life for no other reason than to get their rocks off.
They are not your friends, and "for your own good", is a lie.
As is "for the greater good".
Well...it's all in the books, really.

I've done what I wanted, and what I wanted was Harry Hembock.
Harry books, Krazyfool's, Shmegalamonga.
That's my career.
And I'm just getting started.

And, on that note, thanks to everyone who bought copies of these books.

As I said in the original release of the print edition of book 4...

I made money on something that awful people treated like a disgrace, a crime even.

Okay, let me explain to you people why I don't give a shit, and why if you do, you're inferior. 
Just flat out fucking inferior. 
Outside of rape, child molestation, and MAYBE cheating, I acknowledge no moral component to sex. 
None. 
The rational case can't even be made. 
Also, I don't believe in souls, and if I did, I don't see the quantum-mechanical process of how one could get stained. By anything. 
So, I give less of a shit about FAKE sex. 
And I utterly hand-wave away the concept of "dirty", as something children would think up. 
STUPID children. 
Minus "dirty", I don't believe in "sluts", I see no downside to "whorish", behavior, and I see nothing either sacred, nor shameful in virginity. 
And the double standard? Don't get me started. 
It's all arbitrary shit that means nothing. 
SO, when people get their panties in a knot over a young woman doing a stupid little dance in a rubber diaper to sell a shitty CD, I want to punch you in your stupid medieval bumpkin faces. 
Is this making it clear? Can the walnut between your ears process this at all? 
Are the right people even hearing this, or am I preaching to the choir?
