Politics 10.

Tyrants.

Idiots to the last man.

Often times flat out batshit lunatics too.

Check out some of the winners on my list of world troubles.

And it's bad enough when you've got your tyrants who rise through the usual thuggery.

But your popular tyrants, that's truly a sad black mark on humanity.

Need I remind anyone that Hitler was democratically elected.

That's the part I have trouble wrapping my head around.

People wanting to be led like cattle, wanting people to think for them, to the point where they'll joyously hand over their liberty to some fascist pig.

Well....think it goes back to those monkey impulses from millenia ago.

Democracy is fragile, because, IMHO, it's not the natural state.

But....fuck the natural state.

The natural state taken to its proper conclusion is to run around naked with a shit encrusted asshole, reproducing at all costs, up to and including rape, and dying shivering in the night in your late 20's of a common treatable infection.

Fuck nature.

And fuck kings.

And fuck people who adore kings, or anything resembling one.
Imperial presidents, dynastic families in the presidency, people who want to replace the constitution with the old testament, the whole shmear.

Yes, that's the trouble, these people fucking vote.

But...given all that, it could've been worse.

Amazingly, we've been relatively fortunate.

How long that luck holds out, who the fuck knows?

Look at the rollarcoaster ride of Rome's democracy.

Anyway, once you've got your tyrant shat onto the planet, you've got your cause for the only sort of "just war", out there.

If a fucker's gotta die, may as well be someone who fucking deserves it for a change.

And no, dipshits, a politician you disagree with on health care, or some other spending bill, isn't a fucking dictator.

We've got immigrants here who experienced the true boot of oppression on their necks, talk to one of them.

Oh, right, a lot of them are brown, and that's frightening.

*Sigh* humans.....sometimes, I feel that I would've enjoyed the experience of being a housecat, or a crow more....

But...the food isn't as good. ;)
