I mean, if this thing is happening, may as well sort it all out, right?
I guess there's no spoilers, the DS:MoM trailer has been out long enough, and I've been talking about the Fox acquisition/merging long enough, that we know Fox characters are showing up, and canonizing Fox-Marvel.
And, SM:NWH has been out long enough, you should have seen it, so yeah, the other Spidey films are merged now.
So, how to tackle this new Disney/Fox/Sony continuity megalith?
Well, if you want to go chronologically, there's no way to blend them that doesn't split my head open, so I'd go with splitting up the series-es and put those each in chronological order.
For MCU, pretty much how I have them here.
And phase 4 generally in release order how I have them listed in this review, but with Eternals last.
And Sony-Spidey never did prequels, so generally release order works.
Finally, Fox Marvel like this.
Or, easier to visualize, all of them like this.
Up to you which chunk to tackle first.
Me, I'd go Fox or Sony first, so when the crossovers line up in MCU, you know what's going on.
BUT! If you haven't touched any of this stuff yet, and you want to experience it the way we all did as they came out, and/or you're the kind of person who likes to chew different flavors of gum together, or eats the cheese and caramel popcorns together, or mixes ginger ale with their Sangria, then the way to blend them together is to go by release year.
So!!!
