RIP Loretta Swit

Like I said in the Gene Hackman and George Wendt ones, Ma was sick (and as it turned out, in her final days), and I couldn't keep up with these emotionally.

Swit was Hot Lips on MASH, pretty much.

I covered the evolution of her character in my big MASH review.

I thought I did a pretty good job on that.

RIP George Wendt

From my future self in 6/7/26.

As with the Gene Hackman one, this one happened before Ma passed, but she was sick, and I was still pretty fucking depressed.

Yeah, this one hurt.

Not only was he Norm on "Cheers", he was in "House" which I worship from childhood, and still triple-feature with "An American Werewolf In London" and "Fright Night".

And he was always a hilarious guest on early Conan O'Brien.

And!! He spoke to all the talk shows on the passing of George Carlin.

He was a cool fucking guy.

Happy 20th Anniversary, Star Wars: Revenge Of The Sith!!

And there it is! This is the one! The favorite of the prequels, and the new favorite period among many millennials, zoomers, and alphas.

Well, I moaned and groaned about toxic fandom enough in the other ones, so let's just avoid that topic this time, and look at the extended life this one has had in continuity.

Stuff since last time- 

-Got "Wishful Drinking" for my birthday.

-I finally realized I'm as sick of Star Wars as Carrie Fisher probably was.

-Newest thing out is "Andor" season 2, and the fans are already having doggie-paddle slap-fights about it, and I'm even more committed to checking out on that fandom.

-20th anniversary of "Revenge Of The Sith" is coming up this month. I'll have some things to say about that, and retro link it here. And that'll really be it.
