Authority period.

March 15th, 2016

You know that icy terror you're feeling seeing Donald Trump inch closer and closer to the presidency?
That's how I've felt about all authority my whole life.
Welcome to my world.

And the update...

March 15th, 2020

Yep.
Apparently, if you're a grinning eager-beaver go-getter who gets straight As, you get the Jekyll side of all your teachers and bosses.
I got all the Hyde sides.
In a way, I'm grateful.
It gave me the "They Live", glasses.
Permanently.

It's pointless for liberals to kowtow to Jesus-Nazis.

March 17th, 2018

I just thought of something morbid.
Hillary Clinton went to all those gross evil prayer breakfasts for nothing.
Democrats, wake up, the "evangelical", Jesus-Nazis have been firmly and deeply convinced that the Bronze Age Sky Daddy smiles down on the party that hates the very poor people Jesus said to look out for.
And not even with GOOD propaganda.
Fascists don't art well.
We've got all the artists, we could have head this off at the pass.
What were you doing back when this was being born, boomers?
Oh, right, disco and cocaine.
*Head shake*

The argument is over, the right don't have a philosophy.

March 19, 2016

Here's what I love about the Drumpf candidacy.
The lie finally lies in burning rubble.
And the lie is, that the right ever even had a philosophy.
All these decades, they cried about an imaginary boogeyman authoritarian state coming after them, but then they turn right around and cheer on goons attacking innocent protesters.
All these decades, they've cried about big government, but they wanted people to be second class citizens over what happens in their bedrooms.
Doesn't get more big government than that.
All these decades, they trumpeted "everyone can have the American dream if they pull themselves up by their bootstraps", but when a black man did just that, and became President "he's not a real American!! Birth certificate! Birth certificate!".
Nope, it's all a lie.
It's not a philosophy, it doesn't get to call itself an -ism.
It's the bare bones of how animals act.
Animalism isn't a philosophy, or your house pets would have a political party.
I've finally won this argument, not just against rightists, but against left-wingers that naively wanted to show this "side", respect, thinking that would hold this mess together.
Well, how has that been working for you?
Hmm?
Yeah.

And the update..

March 29th, 2018

And those lies just keep peeling away like an infinite onion.
From Bible-thumpers cheering on an adulterer, to former Cold-War flag wavers spreading their cheeks for Russia.
Conservatism stood for absolutely nothing but greed and avarice.

Add that they turned into socialists in a big fucking hurry now that coronavirus is here.
There's nothing there.
Nothing.
NOTHING!
Noooothiiiing!

Intermezzo.

March 19th, 2013

Ah, these lovely drug commercials.
Intermezzo says side effects may include swelling of the tongue and throat, and this may be fatal.
They don't say "call a doctor", or even dial 911.

Nope, 911 ain't gonna be there in time, you're just gonna be dead.
"May be fatal", that's it.
That's all they have to tell you.
So, as you're strangling to death in the middle of the night, you'll know it was the fucking Intermezzo.
Ain't that nice of them?

Y'know what?
Fuck it, I'll let my brain race until 6 am.

Cat Stevens has brain damage.

March 26th, 2016

So, both The Bible Reloaded guys, and The Scathing Atheist are digging into the Koran about the same pace, and I gotta say, I'm losing more and more respect for Cat Stevens.
If this is the book that was so beautiful it made him weep, he's the worst moron who ever drew breath on this planet.
Lame revisionist fan-fiction of the Bible's genesis stories, horrible apologetics that you learn to laugh and point at on your first day of being an atheist, and seething un-disguised Jew hate.
Those memes from after 9/11 of using the Koran as toilet paper were wrong.
I don't want shit that evil and stupid caressing my skin.

Anyone can make up a better God.

March 26th, 2015

See, if I were God, I'd just show up.
I'd introduce myself, do some magic tricks to prove my credentials, and set up shop in some generic neighborhood, and have a hotline.
I'd actually answer prayers.
And, the whole "faith", thing wouldn't even be a requirement.
Why would I need my ass kissed and my dick sucked?
I'm God.
Why would I need to hide, and require blind belief in me?
What would I be scared of?
Blasphemy?
Sticks and stones.
A three year old learns that shit.
Hell, I'd punish anyone who tried to invent blasphemy.
Theodicy would be obsolete.
I wouldn't allow evil.
"Without evil, we wouldn't know what good is!".
Bullshit.
Nature inflicts plenty to be miserable about without there having to be psychotic assholes on top of it.
A guy who burns his hand on a stove quickly figures out "geez, it would be GOOD if I didn't have that happen again".
Nope, fuck evil, evil would be done.
"But what about free will?".
Overrated.
Bible-God assrapes free will all the time anyway.
That whole "hardened Pharaoh's heart", deal for example.
I'd resolve my existence, poof away theology, and patch some things up in the world.
And I wouldn't get in the way of scientific progress, either.
Why would I fear that?
I'm God.
What kind of a God wants mental-midgets for followers?
What, he makes the universe, but he's scared of humans building Starfleet?
How does that work?
And look at this, I'm just some guy on the internet, and I've described a better God than a bunch of desert goat-fisters came up with over centuries.
It wasn't even hard.
I could have done it in less space if I concentrated harder.
So, someone walk me through where religion gets its moral superiority from.
I'm missing something somewhere.

"I'm not a socialist but...".

March 28th, 2019

Fellow liberals, could you please knock it the fuck off with qualifying whatever you're about to say to a conservative with "I'm not a socialist, I believe in free market capitalism BUT...".
That middling pseudo-compromise bullshit is how we got in this mess.
The Trumpsters are gonna call you a commie in that dogfood blob they call a brain anyway.
Fuck 'em, don't filter it, hit 'em with both barrels of AOC quotes right in the fucking face.
They haven't earned the soft sell.
They blew it three goddamned years ago.
We aren't the ones that need to apologize for existing, they are.
They're the ones that need to hang their heads nervously and go "I'm not a crypto-fascist but..".

And the update..

March 28th, 2020

Fucking Buttigieg was the "I'm not a socialist but...", candidate.
We've got enough of these coward fucks in this country they want representation.
Depressing.

Polite dinner conversation.

March 29th, 2013

I hear the terms "unthinkable", and "unspeakable", thrown around a lot.
I dunno, I can mentally picture pretty much anything, and can remember a real-life example of it I either saw, or read about somewhere.
Everything's thinkable.
And whatever's thinkable can be wrapped up in language.
And I've no qualms about transmitting it to my typing fingers, and/or vocal chords.
Much as it would boost my ego, I refuse to accept I have the greatest imagination on Earth, so...these are just wimp-terms.
They've got to go.
"Not for polite dinner conversation", always bothered me too.
Well, then what is for "polite dinner conversation"?.
"How was your day"?
Well, what if my day included an olive oil orgy, and then chasing a turd monster through the sewer with an UZI and a machete?
I can't discuss my day because it's not "polite"?
This is a holdover from tight-ass Victorian times.
Our lexicon really needs a cache cleaning.

And the update..

March 29th, 2020

Once Trump made "grab 'em by the pussy", okay to say on the news, I think "polite dinner conversation", pretty much had its last death wheeze.

Saying "death wheeze", during coronavirus turned people off, I think.
Sissies.

60 Minutes and perserverence porn.

April 5th, 2020

America has this hard-on for something called "perseverance porn".
Especially our news media.
I wish I could take credit for the term, but I heard it elsewhere.
Best example, a story of a little girl opening a lemonade stand to pay for her mom's operation, and they tell you the part about the lemonade stand, and how adorable the girl is, but not that she only made 4000 bucks of the needed 100 thousand bucks.
And they definitely don't talk about our fucking broken system that causes this shit to happen in the first place.
Tonight's 60 Minutes is all perseverance porn for the victims of the economic side-effects of covid19, but nothing is said about the system, or Trump.
Fuck you, you may as well have not bothered.
Fucking failures.

Snobbery dissected.

April 7th, 2016

You know what makes you a better person than most people?
You might be tempted to say exploring space, or saving lives, or curing diseases, but you'd be wrong.
It's your taste in things, particularly, food, music, and movies.

What you put in your mouth to turn into fecal matter, that's really important.
If you're not paying top dollar for your future-feces, especially future-feces with a frilly French name, well, you should just be put down like a rabid dog.
Also, people putting on makeup, and pretending to be other people is the most important activity there is.
We give trophies to those people.
Being meticulous about what face painted pretending people you watch is an art form unto itself.
Also important is the act of controlled screaming.

Listening to recordings of controlled screaming means nothing if they aren't the RIGHT SORT of controlled screamers.
And if your friends aren't impressed by your tastes in controlled screaming, vicarious make-believe, and making fancy feces, well, then you need new friends.
Sophisticated friends.
Preferably ones that haven't explored space, saved lives, or cured a disease, or they might try to one-up you.

Yeah, Paula Kirby.
*Middle finger*

And, that's those.

Celebrity president.

March 9th, 2018.

Hey, remember early in Obama's first term how the Fox News dummies called Obama "a celebrity", like it was an insult?
Wasn't that fucking bizarre?
Remember how every right-winger you knew in social media picked it up like robots?
And they thought it was a mic drop level insult?
Wasn't that fucking weird?
Where'd that go?
And where's that shit now?
Trump's a former reality game show host, and literally was a wrestling villain for an episode of WWE.
Where's the "*nose crinkle* our celeeeeebrityyy preeesideeent", shit?
Where'd that go?
Is it packed away in a trunk?
Is it under the sofa cushions?
Did it accidentally get thrown away inside a pizza box?
Or are conservatives all like the guy from "Memento"?

Or are they just piles of dogshit that stand for absolutely nothing?

White God, Brown God.

March 14th, 2014

Spinning off from the racism topic, hey, America, the white God is just as fake as the brown one.
If after 13 years, your take away from 9/11 is still "they've got the WRONG God", take a big hard swig of "wake the fuck up".

And the update..

March 14th, 2020

Well, we're up on almost year 19, and still no logic in sight with the knucklehead brigade.

Uncle Sam as Hamburglar.

March 24th, 2014

The US government getting on a moral high-horse with Putin is like Hannibal Lecter lecturing the Hamburglar on legality and nutrition.

Red Dawn 2. (part 1 here)

March 25th, 2018

"Red Dawn", was on last night.
The old 80's one.
I was hypnotically drawn to watch it.
I think I've said before how all that old flag waving jingo bullshit stands revealed as lies from cowards now that all Republicans are lined up with brown lips behind a president with brown lips for Putin.
But you know, I'm finally not angry at that movie now.
I laughed.
I now see it as the 80's best black comedy.
Every line, every scene, is an exact mirror opposite to what the elephant tribe has done.
Hilarious.

And the addendum...

The left-wing antidote to "Red Dawn", and from the same decade, is "Troma's War".
That one had the commies and the corporate fat-cats turn out to be conjoined twins joined at the face. That one really predicted the shit we're in now.

Toxic movies vs real toxic waste.
(References reviews from here and here)

March 26th, 2013

Looking over these sickie flicks for my blog reviews, and reading their history, it strikes me funny, how trangressive/subversive MOVIES were treated like toxic waste, but ACTUAL toxic waste, they'd put in your back yard, or straight into your dinner, if they could get away with it.
Shit, sometimes, they did.
They dosed retarded kids in the 50's.
Swept under the rug, you don't hear about it.
But yeah, I'm supposed to not have a dark streak to my humor living in a world like this.
*Laughs*

To people who can't hold their nose.

March 29th, 2020

Biden's accused of being a rapist?
Well, that's a dilly of a pickle, isn't it?
Hmm, *thinks* well, Bernie isn't going to win the nomination.
Let's get that fantasy out of the way.
So, we can have the rapist who's killing thousands of Americans with his incompetence and narcissism, and the one who won't.
That was easy math, wasn't it?
Minimizing evil is good.
The lesser of two evil is less evil.
Sorry, kids.
Maybe you'll get your unicorn in 2024.

Here's some more moral math for ya, kids.
If Trump gets re-elected, he'll replace Ruth Bader Ginsberg with another woman-hating Nazi.
Then abortion will get banned.
Then the dinner bell for rapists will be rung.
So, you'll be magnifying rape.
Vote blue no matter who.
"Bernie or Bust", is for 3 year olds.

Plague churches.

March 30, 2020

So, all these plague churches, do you think they'll...
A.) admit they're useless
B.) smarten the fuck up, and do video services
C.) kill everyone possible, then blame atheists and the LGBT community
D.) take credit for the hard work of the doctors who saved the survivors
E.) C and D?

E.
The answer is E.

"Reverse racism".

March 31st, 2019

"Reverse racism", is like dehydrated water, it just makes an absence of itself.
To mean what it tries to mean would require an alternate universe where you could spill spots of dry on wet things.
What it really is is a dog-whistle word for civil rights and social justice from racists.
People crying about Jordan Peele preferring black leads for his films are the "reverse racism", crowd.
Stop falling for their shit.

And shame on the allegedly liberal outlets that have crammed this idea in your head.

TV censorship.

April 2nd, 2019

So, in the 90's, if on a reality show someone got naked, they had a big old pixel blur all over 'em.
I caught a few seconds of one of the "Real Housewives", shows where the chicks were skinny-dipping, and all the blur guy had to cover were the nips, the pussy crack, and the asshole.
Tiny little blur dots on those, and you could see everything else including ass crack.
Come on, you've pretty much seen a naked chick then.
I saw tits, belly, thigh, vulva, ass. that's all the goods.
It's like when they bleep "fuck", down to "fu--".
Come on, we know what they said.
Just allow nudity after 10:00.
Get the rugrats to bed.

Conservatism is a sham at every level.

April 5th, 2020

Reason why conservatism is a sham philosophy, number squabillion.
Whining about participation trophies, then electing a president who if you point out his loserdom, essentially goes "you'd better be nice to me, or I'll be naughty!! I'll be naaaaughtyyy!! You won't like me when I'm naaaughtyyy!!", and then looking at that behavior, and going "Wow! He's so AWESOME! That's STRENGTH!".
No, it's pitching a fit they didn't get their fake trophy.
Remember?
That thing you used to bitch about?

Again, they're piles of dogshit that stand or absolutely nothing.

And, that's those.
Up next, another batch of liars and cowards!!

Well, one upshot....

Spectrum is giving everybody free Showtime, Epix, and Starz.
We already had Starz, but the other ones are nice.
Each one of those has like, 10 spinoff channels.
Plus their menu is accessible through streaming DVR, so I don't have to wait for the stuff to be on.

The message is clear.

"Stay inside, you motherfuckers".

Star Trek: The Animated Series (1973-1974)

Old review here.

These are fuckin' sweet.
Love 'em.
Animated, they could do weirder aliens and planets, and bigger action in crazier environments than they could pull off on the live-action budget of the old show.
With that factor, these actually blend over into the movies quite well.
They're an excellent gap filler.
You get the old show style interacting with weirder aliens, then you get the movie style interacting with weirder aliens because of the bigger budgets.
Smooth transition.

Star Trek: The Movie Series-
Star Trek: The Motion Picture. (1979)
Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan. (1982)
Star Trek III: The Search For Spock. (1984)
Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. (1986)
Star Trek V: The Final Frontier. (1989)
Star Trek IV: The Undiscovered Country. (1991)
Star Trek: Generations. (1994)
Star Trek: First Contact. (1996)

Old reviews here and here.

Speaking of transitions, watched back-to-back-to-back, these flow together seamlessly as if they were a season of show.

I've always maintained, Classic Trek did get its 5 seasons.
The 3 original, then animated, then movies.
Then Generations bleeds it right over into TNG.

My binge cuts it off at First Contact, cuz I never bothered to buy Insurrection and Nemesis.

BUT, with "Star Trek: Picard", out there in the world, I kinda want to get them now for the continuity if nothing else.

And then, of course, they time-loop back to the JJ movies, then the JJ movies prequel reference "Wrath Of Khan", in each one.

Oh! And I notice different things each time I watch these, even decades later!

Like, I can't believe I never noticed in TUC Valeris's mis-matched uniform.

All the post-TWOK movie uniforms have that the shoulder stripe, cufflink stripe, cuffs, and collars match, and show the department/rank.

Valeris's shoulder stripe and cufflink stripes are grey, but her collar and cuffs are red.

First, I thought it was a sloppy lazy mistake by the costume department, but she's the only one that mis-matches, and it's a symmetrical mis-match, she doesn't randomly swap to green or something.

So, I'm thinking it's a deliberate subliminal clue that she's the traitor.

Also, I noticed Ensign/Lieutenant Jae in Generations, and stumbled onto that she's the "Where's Waldo?", of all of TNG.
Jae at Memory Alpha.

So, yeah, Valeris and Jae, now that I've noticed them, I can't not see them.

And now I've got a Jae spotting game to play with the H&I/BBC reruns.

Oh! Also!
I noticed when I did the JJ trilogy, "Into Darkness", had a sick burn on Shatner!
Kirk and McCoy are celebrating Kirk's "older than my dad got to be", birthday as a parallel to Shatner-Kirk's 50th in TWOK, and McCoy says something like "at least you've still got your eyesight and your hair".
The TWOK scene had McCoy giving Kirk his antique glasses, and Shat had his hairpiece by then.
Daaamn, JJ!

That's why Trek is so fuckin' cool.
You can find new golden Easter eggs in these movies and shows for literally your whole entire life.
Re-watch value is limitless.

Up next?
I dunno.
I'm Star Trekked out.
I'm craving horror.
But nothing to fucking do with zombies and/or virii.

Maybe Hannibal the series?
I dunno...we'll see...
I've got to catch up on podcasts again first.

See you next time.

Happy 21st anniversary of Krazyfool's Den Of Delusion!!!

  • 2013 (saga of the site)
  • 2014 (saga of Krazyfool Show)
  • 2015 (TFA was coming soon)
  • 2016 (Rogue One was being whispered)
  • 2017 (Rogue One was out)
  • 2018 (TLJ was out)
  • 2019 (TROS was coming soon)

So, here's the Krazyfool stuff...

The 20th anniversary of The Krazyfool Show happened!

And within that, I finally did....

The Krazyfool Show 2

And doing that one gave me the idea for Krazyfool prequels, and I wanted to crank them out by today, but coronavirus survival bullshit slowed me down, so I'll do them whenever I can get to them and retro-link them below...
  • Krazyfool 1978!!
  • Krazyfool 1983!!
  • Krazyfool 1985!!
  • Krazyfool 1989!!
  • Krazyfool 1993!!
  • Krazyfool 1997!!
  • Krazyfool 2003!!
  • Krazyfool 2008!!
  • Krazyfool 20--!!

Yeah, that's right, I wanna do a bunch of 'em.

And, because I talked about TPM in Krazyfool Show 1, I talk about the current state of Star Wars in these.
So...

The Mandalorian came out.

And next year...

Rosario Dawson is Ahsoka Tano in season 2.

Oh, and...

I sequel-ized "I Love Star Wars".

And, that's all that for this year.
See you next year.
Hopefully.

G.I. Joe Memorial Day (The Tenth).

So, where was I on 2017,18, and 19?

Picketing clam diggers.
And then going into isolation cuz I was exposed to clam diggers.
Fortunately, my stomach didn't cave in.

Unlike GI Joe.
Whose stomachs caved in.
From bad clams.

When will people learn?
When.
Will people.
Learn?

Anyway, I was gonna let this one go by, but it's the tenth one, and it's the apocalypse, and I might never get to do another one, so fuck it, I'm fucking doing this one.

Yo, Joe!!!
