Franken-fest (Part 7)

So, here we are again, at the final installment of another mini-marathon.

Goodbye, Franken-fest!

So, let's get to the last category, the cartoons.

The Monster Of Frankenstein (1984)

The film-

As with "Tomb Of Dracula", an anime adaptation of the marvel comic of the same name.

And, of course, it's by Toei, who did "Tomb Of Dracula".

And, like "Tomb", you can check it out on Youtube.

And...that's it, everything I said about "Tomb", applies here as well.

...*eyes dart sneakily*....

SCHLOCK!!!!!

Gotcha!

Alvin And The Chipmunks Meet Frankenstein (1999)

The film-

So, the Chipmunks fancied themselves the new Abbott and Costello.

...in that they continued to fuck up the public in the confusion between the doctor, and The Monster.

Rip his fucking head off, Mike.

Frankenweenie (2012)

The film-

Yep, they fired ol' Timmy for the original, now, money talks, and they came crawling back.

Remember shit like this, whenever someone in either your personal, or professional life, tries to grind you down with their bullshit.

These same exact people, will (literally!) tongue your asshole under the right circumstances.
Here's the proof.

Never let the bullshit get to you, never give up.

That's it.
Now, reruns again.

Mad Monster Party (1967)

The film/history-

See here, and here.

Mary Shelly's Frankenhole (2010-2012)

The film/history-

See here.

Y'know, we actually don't see enough of The Monster, it's more about the doctor...

Still....

Hotel Transylvania (2012)

The film/history-

See here.

As of right now, it's getting shellacked by "Frankenweenie".
Just letting ya know...

Aaand, that's the cartoon flicks.

The Monster was also in The Castlevanias, but, I didn't need to repeat that one.

Now, the wrapup stuff....

Um, yeah, the Universal and Hammer flicks, the modern remakes/spinoffs, the parodies, the video games, and the comics, and cartoons.

There's also the strawberry breakfast cereal.

All off a novel that's 194 years old!

That's all of it.
That's the history.
That's what established this character/story.

When you don't know the history, one imagines there's this fuzzy grey blob representing "jillions", of films, and then, the latest one is solid.
And, the latest must be the best!
Nope, 'taint so, and it ain't jillions.
These are those.
This is where it all came from.
Ditto Dracula.

Why does this matter?
Well, if you're any sort of horror fan, you ought to fucking know this stuff.
Dammit.

Anyhoo, we said goodbye to Drac with a shred metal song, and, there was also the musical theater song from "Forgetting Sarah Marshall".

So, we ought to likewise say goodbye to Mike Frankenstein with two songs.

Here we go....

THE END!

Up next, Wolf-Man!
