I drank Moxie. Found it for $2 at The People's Grocery for one bottle.
Five seconds of pleasant licorice/cream-soda taste followed by a half minute of menthol cough drop aftertaste. Bleaahhhh!!!!! Bottle smells like cough syrup enough to get you high afterwards. I threw the bottle across the room and it hit an old woman in the head, it FUCKING KILLED HER, DUDE!! FUCK that! FUCK Moxie!!!
Well, guess I can check that shit off my bucket list. I bought some butterscotch root beers and Bubble Up and Blue Cream Frostie Soda to balance it off so yay for me.
People have been drinking this shit for ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY TWO YEARS? It says "Since 1884" on the bottle.
Drink enough of it, and you toughen to it like coffee.
To me, it's only slightly stronger than Dr. Pepper.
Now you have to try Dr. Brown's Cel-Ray.
I'll try Cel-Ray if I can find it, but what I'd REALLY like to try is...
