Ghostbusters: Afterlife was actually in secret development before and during Answer The Call.

Jason Reitman says he had the earliest ideas for Afterlife a decade ago, then he realized Phoebe had to be Egon's granddaughter right after Harold Ramis died, which was 2014, and he had Sony execs secretly looking at the first draft of the script in 2016.

So, hey!! 

The belief by CHUDs that the reboot got in the way of a GB3 is proven bullshit now!

We were always going to get both!

Halloween 2021!

I wrote an intro to this already, but that grew into a movie review thing that I posted yesterday.

So, I'll just restate, fascism is the real boogeyman.

And, this is the first Halloween to have no special theme.

Except it grew a fascism theme by itself against my will.

So...theoretically, it's the first without a theme.

But in practice, not so much.

Oh, well, better luck next time.

All the horror stuff from this year...

-Theaters looked like they were dead.

-But I didn't mind as much anymore.

-But then theaters came back!

-Clarice came out.

-Collected the Resident Evils.

-Collected Castlevania and FTWD seasons 5-6.

-Peter Dinklage is Toxie, Kevin Bacon is his villain, and it actually finished filming!

-Evil Dead Rise is going to HBOMax first, Mia Challis is a third girl character, and the flick also just finished filming.

-Twilight Of The Dead is going to be a thing. Maybe.

-Final Girl Support Group was rumored to be a thing, but I've heard fuck-all for a year.

-Chucky the series became a thing, and I dig it.

-"Halloween Kills" came out, but I didn't bother.

Cinemagic got bought by Apple Cinemas.

I'm gonna get to see Ghostbusters: Afterlife!!!

That's the only one I cared about.

That's the only one I wanted to see early cuz Ghostbusters are once in a blue moon.

I'll let Marvel fall by the wayside.

Well...okay, "Spider-Man: No Way Home" is special, I have to see that.

And "Multiverse Of Madness" depending what universes they bring in.

And when they finally bring X-Men in.

Well, you know what I'm saying.

I'm not gonna be a junkie for it anymore, I'm gonna get picky.
