Star Trek: Lower Decks review.

Final episode dropped today, so here we go...

Previously with new-Trek-

The buildup to get here-

Now, the review!

-Mariner is one of my favorite new characters since the new era of Trek started.
-Q!
-Riker!
-Troi!
-And I predicted all three of 'em!
-Connections and Easter eggs for TOS, TAS, TNG, DS9, VOY, ENT, and pretty much all of the movies.
-That's right, TAS is finally canon once and for all. No more non-committal grey-area bullshit.
-90's era Trek is back! We're right back where we left off with Voyager! It's like those 20 years never happened!
-Tawny Newsome who plays Mariner said it best, she didn't know how much she missed TNG until she saw those corridors and LCARS screens on walls again, and when you see it again, it warms you like a security blanket, or a hug.
-No mention of Discovery or Picard, but Rebecca Romijn is lobbying for a Strange New Worlds crossover, cuz her and Jerry O'Connell are married, and O'Connell is on Lower Decks.
-Great as a comedy, while worthy of being canon Trek.
-Might just be my favorite of the new shows.
-Can't wait for season 2.

Next week, Discovery season 3 starts to drop!
See you with that review in 13 weeks!
