Happy sixth observed Star Wars day.

Saw "Rogue One", twice in the theater (1, 2) and Star Wars is still back.
It'll never again be as bad as "Phantom Menace", and I don't even hate it anymore (there are far worse movies to expend real hate on), so they'll never make a new one I hate.
We're good.

Oh, the nitpickers whined, but fuck 'em.

Anyhoo, from last time...

See you next year for a Rogue One full poster and review(s).
And some Episode 8 news, possibly a title.

Well, the first part is answered above.
As for the rest...

-Episode 8 is "The Last Jedi".
-"Last Jedi", had a teaser poster, and a trailer.

Also...

-I did a retrospective of the evolution of the future-films infographic.
-Starting with Han Solo, Star Wars will be going back to May.
-The third anthology film will be announced this summer sometime.
-John Knoll who created "Rogue One", has another idea brewing.
-Thrawn is back in canon via "Rebels", and will be back next season.
-Timothy Zahn wrote a new canon Thrawn novel, so he's all the way back.
-"Rebels", will catch up to "Rogue One", possibly going right up to the battle of Scarif.
-Saw Garrera popped up in "Rebels", so the integration with "Rogue", has already started.
-Next season is the last for "Rebels".

Aaaand, I think that's it.

See you next year for "The Last Jedi", and some news on Han Solo and anthology three.

The big news on Han solo, unless you were in a cave, Lord & Miller were fired, and Ron Howard has been called in to fix and finish the flick.

Here's a whole Collider panel show on it.
