Not to spoil your fun, but the Pope is a head of state and has diplomatic immunity.
Nope, there's no official law on the books that says the Vatican is a state.
It's merely treated as one.
If he had diplomatic immunity, Dubya Bush wouldn't have had to sign that piece of paper giving him immunity in the states.
And that's here, not in Briton.
