Ghostbusters: Year One review.

So far, on Ghostbusters day, the only thing to drop has been the final issue of this.
So, here we go...

I really dug it.

Okay, memory refresher.
Plot is, it happens right after Ghostbusters 1, and a writer/reporter is doing interviews with all 4 guys for a book, and they flashback to missing scenes from during the time of the first movie.

Issue 1.
Winston.
He recounts training with the proton pack, and his first bust, which was the ghost of Edgar Allen Poe.

Issue 2.
Ray.
Ray tells of the time they went back to the library, and busted the librarian ghost.
(Yeah, that always bugged me, why didn't the movie show that?)

Issue 3.
Peter.
The case at the dance club The Rose we only hear about on the radio.

Issue 4.
Egon.
We see the smashed up firehouse, and Egon starting to rebuild, and we see that the first time they used the containment unit, it leaked, and Slimer got out.
For awhile.

Nice little bit of fun.
I think it was supposed to tide us over until Afterlife, then there was probably gonna be a crossover.
Who knows now?

Although, they leave it open for a sequel to this one.
Year Two?
We'll see.
Who knows if the comics industry is even going to survive the corona-pocalypse.
Or Hollywood, for that matter.
