Happy 29th anniversary, Transformers The Movie!

Hasn't been anything to report in awhile, but word is some of the greatest writers in Hollywood have been brought together to try to turn the Michael Bay franchise into something actually good.

I won't hold my breath, but I like the talent involved.
Maybe...maybe....

Anyhoo, next year's the 30th anniversary, maybe there'll be good news by then besides nostalgia.

What, Ehren "Scream 3" Kruger wasn't good enough for you? Hey, don't forget that Orson Welles was once involved with this name...(I never saw that animated film but it's probably better than the Bay stuff)

I bet after this new "Fantastic 4" film bombs and everyone hates it, that they just try doing it again in five years.

I'd like to see Marvel/Disney get Fantastic Four back to integrate them into "Infinity War".

"The Inhumans", is part of the MCU, and they're originally a FF spinoff.
If Marvel had FF back, the story could be told in the correct order.

Ugh, that *is* where that song comes from.

And sure enough, box office reports for that new F4 film are straight down the toilet.

Not that I always pay attention to those. But I will this time.

Of course, the reason for figuring they'll just try Fantastic 4 again later on is because they're already re-rebooting "Spider-Man," not to mention friggin "Halloween" and "Friday the 13th."

To say something new, the Jake Gyllenhaal movie "Nightcrawler" is fairly good. Not a superhero movie mind you but about a sickass who takes creepy crime scene photos. He's pretty good in it.
