DC Gunn-verse speculation.

Okay, I like to do these speculations, even though I'm wrong 60% of the time.

Hey, with the information I have to work with, my stuff is logical.
It's not my fault the studios and their writers rip the rug out from under me with misdirection, and flat out changing their minds mid-stream.

But, dammit, I'm gonna try yet again.

So, here's my core premise.
Like the Snyder-verse built itself around Henry Cavill's Superman, Gunn-verse will build itself around Sasha Calle's Supergirl.

Gunn has said that the reboot hinges on the Flash movie.
So, let's look at what we know about the Flash movie.

It's multiverse, and Flash does indeed have dimension travel as a superpower in the comics, and the CW TV show.
The films's got two variants of Flash, both played by Ezra Miller.
Ezra Millar already popped up on CW's "Crisis On Infinite Earths".
Grant Gustin (TV Flash) is rumored to have a cameo.
Along with the Flash variants, are Michael Keaton Batman, and Sasha Calle Supergirl.
There's no Supergirl as far as we know in the Snyder-verse, so she's from another dimension.

Matter of fact, Snyder has said his Kara Zor-El was in one of the stasis pods in the ancient Kryptonian ship, and she sired the Amazons and Atlanteans. He even did a prequel comic about it.
Snyder-verse Supergirl is dead
Calle-Supergirl can only be from another dimension!

And, we know there's a Supergirl movie slated for the Gunn-verse.
Why cast Sasha Calle, have her be from another universe, make the movie she's in vital to your reboot, and then re-recast the role yet again for the reboot?
Nope, I think it's clear that Sasha is from the Gunn-verse, and that's how the torch gets passed.
Then "Superman Legacy" will introduce the Superman of her world, and Calle-Supergirl will be in that.
Then "Brave And The Bold" will introduce the Batman, Robin, and Batgirl of the Gunn-verse.
Then Supergirl gets her own standalone movie.
I'll even bet Supergirl will do an after-credits thing in "Brave And The Bold" to tie it up all nice.

I also think where Gunn-verse has Supergirl, and the whole Bat-family of Batman, Robin, & Batgirl, that "Superman Legacy" will introduce the Superman-family.
Superman, Supergirl, Superboy, Krypto, at minimum.
The comics add on Jimmy Olson and Lois Lane with powers, Arn Munro, and a slew of others.
Gunn is a fanboy, he's capable of some deep dives.
We'll just have to see.
Given he's building out a world where superheroes are a regular fact of life, he's got his work cut out populating that world.
DC's archives have no shortage of characters to play with.

But Supergirl is the glue.
She's the Iron Man.
She's the Daredevil.
She's the Cavill Superman.

That much I'm sure of.
Stay tuned.

Update: Haha!! Nope! None of this!! See here.
