Janine finally suits up as a Buster in movie-canon!
I mean, they did this in the cartoon, the comics, and the action figures ages ago, but they're finally getting it up on the silver screen.
Janine was always an "all hands on deck" emergency Buster.
She'd rather secretary because it's safer, but she can do it.
Indeed, Annie Potts in the interview says it's an "all hands on deck" situation.
Annie Potts lobbied for Janine to suit up in the movies for awhile, but the 90's and 00's came and went with no Ghostbusters 3, so she kinda gave up.

Potts also says she has some other piece of tech instead of a proton pack, so I'm thinking some kind of pistol like Kylie Griffin, or Holtzman, or the Janine action figure.

And "Evil Elsa" is a male, and is called (drag over for spoilers) Garraka.
So, that's all the big stuff.
Gil Kenan has also said the whole movie draws heavy inspiration from the Ghostbusters cartoon (AKA "The Real Ghostbusters").
So, yeah, I was on board already, but they've really got my money now.
