42nd birthday haul part 2.

Got this stuff earlier this week, but it took a bit to consume/absorb.
Would have got it ON my birthday, but of course, release dates don't like to cooperate.


Ash vs Evil Dead (2016)

Series review.

Unh, FINALLY.
Feels like almost a year from it finishing on Starz do they finally put the disks out.
Hell, it'll be just a couple months, season 3 will start up.

Anyhoo, commentaries were worth it.
Plus, there were little mini documentaries on various aspects of production.
Monster makeup, guest stars, the Ashy Slashy puppet, etc.

Counting the 2013 remake, there's 16 hours of Evil Dead now.
With next season, we'll be closing in on almost 24.

When its all said and done (assuming they hit the 5 season target), we'll have 31.
Digested normally, that'll fill a week of bingeing.

Shit, and that's just the shows, never mind the bonuses.
Hell, there's 32 hours now if you double up for commentary modes.

Yeah, I never need crave for Evil Dead content now for the rest of my life.


Guardians Of The Galaxy: Vol. 2 (2017)

Original review.

I have to binge both films back to back as one big movie sometime.
They really complement each other perfectly.
Wish I could just time travel to Infinity War, and Guardians Vol 3.

Just finished off the director commentary, and thus the final bonus, minutes ago.
You'll be glad to know, Guardians Inferno is on there as a bonus.
