As huge a fan as I was about the Tim Burton 1989 Batman film, and as much as I liked Prince's other stuff, I still cannot see how they in any way go together. 'Batdance' is such an over-produced chaotic mish-mash, that it's no wonder it isn't used in the film. 'Party Man' and 'Trust,' however, are decent songs that actually fit the movie in the places they're used...
I do like that guitar riff that starts at 2:20 though....
If I could re-edit the film, that'd be the theme for the Batwing swooping in on the parade, not the 50th recycling of the Elfman ditty.
