The shape of post-Deadpool 3 Marvel.

Okay, this has been coming through in trickles, but the trickles have filled a bucket now so....

Remember Ike Perlmutter from my history of the fall and re-rise of Marvel?
You remember, right?
You read it, right?
*Poke, poke, poke*

ANYWAY! That fucker got together with some private equity scum, and tried to stage a hostile takeover of Disney.
He failed.
Thank goodness.

Bob Iger came back onboard as CEO of Disney, cuz the other guy loused things up.
This was before the Perlmutter thing.

Bob Iger's whittled Marvel down to 2 shows a year, and 2 movies a year.
This year is "Deadpool & Wolverine" only.
He doesn't say what the 2025 movies are, but 2026 will be Avengers 5 & 6.
One of the 2025 ones will have to be Captain America 4.
The other one must be Fantastic Four.

Avengers 5 is no longer "The Kang Dynasty" cuz of the dude who played Kang going to jail.
It's just "Avenger 5" until they can find a new title.
They might just go with "Secret Wars parts 1 & 2".
Although, "Infinity War" and "Endgame" were originally supposed to be "Infinity War parts 1 & 2".
So, I think they'll find a title in the next couple years.

Harrison Ford is Thunderbolt Ross/Red Hulk in Cap 4.
Toys have leaked that he will indeed be Red Hulk/Rulk.
Han Solo as a Hulk; 8 year old me would have flipped. 😆

All of that's official; now to rumors.

The heroes who will be pivotal in Avengers 5: Falcon-Cap, Spider-Man, Moon Knight, The Hulk, and She-Hulk.
I can only assume it'll be Holland-Spidey and not Tobey-Spidey.

Although, it's supposed to be all hands on deck for "Secret Wars".
Everyone who didn't make it into "Multiverse of Madness" and won't make it into "Deadpool & Wolverine" will be kicked down the road into "Secret Wars"
One way or another, we're getting everybody.

Secret Wars will finally address the "No Way Home" after-credits of Venom leaving a piece behind.
I take that to mean Holland-Spidey will wear the Venom suit like in the "Secret Wars" comics.

Plot rumor for Captain America 4: Tiamat, the dead Celestial at the end of "Eternals" is the source of the MCU's adamantium.
The Japanese figure out how to turn it into metal first (Silver Samurai? Wink, wink) and they also figure out it can soak up gamma rays, which makes it a weapon against Hulks.
So, The Leader steals Japan's supply, and that's where we come in.

So, that's that.
See you in 2026 for how all this really turns out.
