Ash vs Evil Dead (2015)
Updated from "Okay, Evil Dead fans, here's where we are. (update)".
From here.
Okay, so the title is "ASH VS. EVIL DEAD", the network is Starz, it'll be 10 half hour episodes, and it'll come out sometime next year.
And next year is now, so sometime this summer.
Here's the official blurb from Starz.
“Bruce Campbell will be reprising his role as Ash, the stock boy, aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead. When a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his demons –personal and literal. Destiny, it turns out, has no plans to release the unlikely hero from its ‘Evil’ grip.”
And his sidekicks will be Ray Santiago (Touch) and Dana DeLorenzo (A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas).
No Mia.
Unless they squeeze in a cameo.
Personally, I'd have her mending in a hospital bed.
The pic above traces back as fanart, but it's damned good fanart.
Hannibal season 3 (2015)
(No pic yet)
Richard Armitage will be Dollarhyde/The Tooth Fairy.
Rutina Wesley will play Reba McClane (the blind girl from Manhunter/Red Dragon).
Gillian Anderson will be back in a bigger capacity than last season.
Joe Anderson will replace Michael Pitt as Mason Verger.
And, Raul Esparaza will be back as Chilton (spoiler, he didn't die).
They're gonna cram "Hannibal Rising", a lot of "Hannibal", and seemingly all of "Red Dragon", into this one.
It's been pushed up to July.
They're going to treat the long break as real time, and cover what happened to the characters in that year gap.
Episodes 1-3 will show what happened to Hannibal, and then episode 4 will finally show what happened to the rest of the cast right after the cliffhanger.
Friday The 13th (the re-remake) (2015)
(Ditto Hannibal)
It's not going to be found footage (hooray!), and it'll deal with how Jason keeps coming back.
(Um, the Necronomicon, duh!)
There, I'll update in comments from here on out.

The director of "District 9", is doing a sequel to "Aliens", that ignores Alien 3 & 4.
http://www.darkhorizons.com/news/35861/blomkamp-s-alien-film-is-happening
I saw that too.
Do you agree with me that the death of the "hybrid alien" in "Alien: Resurrection" is one of the most hilariously over the top, dreamt-up-by-a-sick-minded-12-year-old-gorehound things ever put on film? Was this Joss Whedon's idea? I almost die laughing when its guts fall out and it starts screaming.
D'oh!! I get so behind on these.
Yes, I agree. :P
Zachary Quinto will guest star on Hannibal.
The "The Walking Dead", prequel spinoff has gotten a 2 season order.
Still no title.
I heard a rumor it might be "Fear The Walking Dead", but that's lame.
I could live with it, but come on, get more creative, folks.
Lucy Lawless joins the cast of "Ash vs. The Evil Dead".
Before Lawless, Jill Marie Jones joined Ash vs Evil Dead as a cop who thinks Ash is responsible for the murder of her partner.
My usual sources didn't mention it, so I'm correcting the oversight.
Also, the Evil Dead fanfilm, "Marvel Zombies vs Army of Darkness", is back up after some copyright bullshit from Marvel/Disney.

And this summer, there's going to be a sequel, "Ash vs The DC Dead".
The "Friday The 13th", TV series is going to take a meta approach, with events taking place at a "real", Crystal Lake that inspired the movies, with a killer that inspired the movie Jason.
From Tom Six's Twitter on March 13th-
"Get ready for a f*king tsunami of pede 3 news #soonbabysoon".
The title for the Walking Dead spinoff has been confirmed as "Fear The Walking Dead".
Meh.
TOHO is getting back in the Godzilla business with "Godzilla 2016".
First teaser for "Ash vs. Evil Dead".
More of an animated poster, really.

Tom Six's Twitter on March 31st.
"NEXT WEEK YOUR HUNGRY MOUTHS WILL BE FED!".
One can only assume a big announcement.
A trailer, perhaps?
Release date?
Fingers crossed.
The announcement has ahappened, and it's the release date, and description.
May 22nd for the release.
Now, the description.
Bully prison warden Bill Boss (Dieter Laser), leading a big state prison in the US of A, has a lot of problems; his prison statistically has the highest amount of prison riots, medical costs and staff turnover in the country. But foremost he is unable to get the respect he thinks he deserves from his inmates and the state Governor (Eric Roberts). He constantly fails in experimenting with different ideas for the ideal punishment to get the inmates in line, which drives him, together with the sizzling heat, completely insane. Under threats of termination by the Governor, his loyal right hand man Dwight (Laurence R Harvey) comes up with a brilliant idea. A revolutionary idea which could change the American prison system for good and save billions of dollars. An idea based on the notorious Human Centipede movies, that will literally and figuratively get the inmates on their knees, creating the ultimate punishment and deterrent for anyone considering a life of crime. Having nothing to lose, Bill and Dwight create a jaw-dropping 500-person prison centipede.
Tom Six has hinted at a teaser coming soon.
Exact words...
"Wait till you see the teaser twitters! you can throw away your viagra and lubricant!".
"Five Nights At Freddys", is going to be a movie.

"Gremlins", is being remade.

The Soska Sisters's "Vendetta", will come on on July 12th, stars Dean Cain and WWE's The big show, and is described by them as "Punisher goes to jail, and fights Kingpin".
The two part remake of "IT", is finally moving forward and Will Poulter is the new Pennywise.
Never heard of the kid.

Soska Sisters aren't in the lineup for "XX", anymore.
Be nice if IMDB or Wikipedia updated that little tidbit.
Mimi Rogers has joined "Ash vs Evil Dead".
http://www.darkhorizons.com/news/37059/mimi-rogers-joins-ash-vs-evil-dead
Also the artwork up top isn't fanart, it's official.
George Romero's "Empire Of The Dead", comics are being adapted into a miniseries.
Cary Fukunaga has dropped out as director of the "It", two-part film, as New Line wants to pinch pennies, and make it only one movie.
So, it's ruined now.
One movie, Fukunaga gone, it'll be a piece of shit.
And now the "It", remake is dead.
Good. I'd rather it be dead than shitty.
Hannibal comes back next Thursday.
Oh, yeah, here's my HC3 review.
http://dickynoo.blogspot.com/2015/05/big-summer-movies-part-3-part-3.html
Now the "It", remake is back on.
But still without the original director.

Not much there.
Some blood, Ash firing up the chainsaw, "groovy".
No actual glimpse of Bruce Campbell, or show footage.
Same teaser, but Ash says "Ash is back, baby", instead of "groovy!".

Disney is expanding the "Night On Bald Mountain", sequence to "Fantasia", into a full live-action movie.
Suh-weet!!
