I don't do the big Christmas superhero movie updates anymore, but a lot of the predicted movies have come to pass, so I'd still like to do an update.
I zeroed in on 2015 as the best year, since the DC/Marvel slates were most solidified then.
So, I'll start with this one as the update of the 2015 DC slate.
DC.
Batman v Superman:
Dawn Of Justice.
Released.
Suicide Squad
Released.
Wonder Woman
Released.
Justice League.
Released.
Aquaman.
Released.
Shazam.
Released.
Black Canary.
She's going to be in "Birds Of Prey: and The Fantabulous Emancipation Of One Harley Quinn".
Her movie incarnation will be played by Jurnee Smollett-Bell.
Adam West Batman animated movies.
Released.
Lego Batman
Released.
And it was/is one of my favorite Batman pieces of media!
Killing Joke
Released.
It wasn't the worst thing in the world, but it was a disappointment, and I've never bothered to buy it.
But, it's not the cosmic tragedy it would have been 10 years ago.
The Joaquin Phoenix Joker movie looks like it's actually gonna blow Killing Joke (book and movie) away.
The following are dead, or in limbo.
Flash, Green Lantern Corps, Justice League Dark, Booster Gold/Blue Beetle, and Sandman.
Don't hold your breath for 'em.
Especially Sandman.
Although...maybe someday DC Universe streaming service will tackle it as a show.
Swamp Thing is coming as a DC streaming show.
We've got Constantine in Legends Of Tomorrow.
Flash is still great on TV.
The days where if it's not a movie, we've got nothing, are long over.
Next up, Marvel!
