I was pooped out when it was done!
It's a lot!!

Rundown time.

• The Aquaman curse should be over by now.
• Aquaman was always a badass, he was lethal in the comics from the beginning, the only authorized incarnation that ever did him dirty was Superfriends, and MAN did that show ever drill into people's memory.
• There's de-aging CG on two characters that takes it to the next level up from even stuff in the MCU. You can't bitch about the facial CGI this time, DC haters.
• Holy shit!! Aquaman is a Mainer!!
• Holy shit!! The Boston aquarium!! I've been there!!
• Holy shit!! "Africa", by Toto remix!!
• It's underwater He-Man!! You want a He-Man reboot? They made it, and it's called Aquaman.
• Dolph Lundgren is Mera's dad, so He-Man is fucking in it!!!
• The most FUN I've had of all the DCEU movies so far.
• One little throwaway line about Justice League, but otherwise you can go in clean to this one.
• Hmm...Black Manta kinda has a legit beef.
• Could Aquaman control Cthulhu or Godzilla? Answer: (spoiler highlight) oh, fuck yeah!!
• Stay for the mid-credits, but not for an after credits.
• How do I rank it? Behind Wonder Woman by > < this much. Aquaman is bigger and beefier, but Wonder Woman has a smidge more heart, and still stays at the top of the list.
• Come to think of it, I'd re-organize my top 4 to be WW, AM, MoS, JL.

Should you go see it?
Oh, fuck yes!!
If you liked Justice League, it's better, if you hated JL, it's better.
Like I said up top, it's a lot, it'll poop you out.
But in a good way, not like a Michael Bay Transformers movie.

And speaking of Transformers, up next, Bumblebee!!
Yep, even the most cynical, bitter, impossible to please bastard critics out there are singing the praises of this thing, so I have to see it.
