RIP...guy from Smash Mouth? He was 56?!? Which means he was THIRTY TWO when they sang f***ing "All Star"? What's next, the Mighty Mighty Bosstones were in their 80s when they did "The Impression That I Get"?
Smash Mouth were once described by a mean spirited website as like "if Limp Bizkit threw up on a Lisa Frank poster"
The Bong Joon-ho film "Memories Of Murder" is decent but very ugly and it's no "Zodiac," which it was compared to repeatedly and is why I watched it. It's less about the murders than the total incompetence of cops under a dictatorship unable to solve the crime. Uh, if you were interested. Hell I don't know.
Smash Mouth guy was a Nazi saluting anti-vaxxer/anti-masker.
He did a concert at Sturgis, so he's a super-spreader, and therefore murderer.
I dunno if I should do a dancing on his grave thing like Pat Robertson and Rush Limbaugh, or what.
Nah, those are for special occasions.
I'll keep an eye out for "Memories Of Murder" on DVR.

Uhhh...ooof. Johnny Carson voice, "I did not know that"...geez was that in the obits I read? People must love that song.
I saved the receipts during covid, then the mainstream articles caught up about three days later.
Oh, and it's looking like Russel Brand is a rapist, and a network of enabling scum protected him like Cosby.
I was about to ask if Russell Brand was a $cientologist, but $cientology's lawyers couldn't save That 70s Rapist from thirty years in the gloryhole. I sort of got sick of seeing that show's reruns everywhere all the time and I wonder if we'll see less of them now that Topher Grace is the only cast member willing to show some integrity about this whole ordeal.
As for Brand, I thought that a)his fame was pretty short lived (what's he been in *recently*?) and that b)he already got into some terrible trouble once, I think he prank called some nurse about Prince William's kid once and she committed suicide the next day? I don't feel like checking. I recalled thinking he was okay in "Get Him To The Greek" and "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" but I'm not terribly attached to either of those two movies.
I'm guessing Zach Galifianakis will be next? Maybe Elon Musk can throw some gasoline on his own dumpster fire. I hope Jonah Hill isn't a pervert.
