Crap, forgot a couple....
Great Books (TLC, 1993-1994)
Narrated by Donald Sutherland, it's like a mini English class on a bunch of historical books.
I loved the shit out of these.
Youtube finally has them on a big playlist.
This was back before TLC got rotted away with the Alzheimer's of reality TV.
Fuck that evil toxic waste.
Harlan Ellison's Watching (1995-1997)
Mentioned it here in my review of "Sci-Fi Vortex".
Harlan saved the tapes, and Youtubed them, and you can see them all here.
There we go, now it feels complete!

"Dear Zachary": Yeah, it really infuriates you doesn't it? Now go watch all of "Shoah" (1985) for an even deadlier documentary experience. I dare you!!!
Caught "Dunkirk" in the theaters. It's okay, and nice to see Nolan not doing 2 hours and 40 minutes for a running time anymore, but I have no idea how much you'd like it or not. (Good luck guessing what any of the characters' names are!)
Argh, okay, you already go to Harry Dean Stanton....goddammit. Right there with friggin Christopher Lee and Dio and Lemmy amongst guys you just always hoped would keep doing what they do until they were 120 (then again, the only person they even know has lived that long is a little old French lady.) Well here's looking forward to Twin Peaks S3.
Quaaaade open your mind quuaaaaade!

I wouldn't put it past the little weasel, but 20 years ago, how do you prove it?
OMFG, 20 years ago was exactly hen I was doing my skits of him.
Well, she should have dumped hot butter on his crotch like Popcorn Girl.
Actually, I only bring this up for three reasons:
1)I forget about Harry Knowles ENTIRELY unless someone brings him up in conversation (it was brought up on that other board I check.) (Wait, this isn't a "board," I guess I only check one board, then.) WHY are people still following him? If you want Internet movie discussion ugliness haven't there been better places to go? Is this 2002? I didn't know anyone had cared about him since 2002.
2)It reminded me of your sketch, since it took place in the Alamo Drafthouse.
3)BLEARRRRRGGHHHHHHH. MOLESTED BY HARRY KNOWLES. PUUUUUUUUUUUKE PUUUUUUUUKE BLAAARRGGGGGHH DIE. FATTY BOOMBLATTY. YOU'LL FLOAT TOO GEORGIE. GAAAAHHHHHH.
Just...just....
