My original rant on the subject.
Along with my explanation, I related my bad experience of walking past the petition to get it on the ballot, and some sneering witchy hag gave me a hard time about it.
Well!! The stupid assholes got it on the ballot, and I voted "no" and "no" didn't just win, it fucking CRUSHED!!!

Oh!! And it wasn't just voter ID, it was an omnibus of voting restrictions.
Less drop boxes, no prepaid postage on the envelopes, family members can't bring them to their handicapped and elderly relatives.
Basically, if you can't drag your meat-carcass to the polls, you can't vote, which defeats the whole fucking purpose of absentee voting, and effectively abolishes it.
Fuck you! Even if I though voter ID was a good idea, you'd fuck me up the ass on all that other bullshit.
Towards the end of her life, absentee was the only way my mother could vote.
You fucking scum pigs!! Jesus Herbert Christ.
So, yeah, again, it got crushed.
Fuck you again, hag-lady. Maine is still good after all.
Oh, and we also voted for red flag laws, and that crushed.
We just had a mass shooting in Lewiston for fuck's sake.
"Oh no, let's EXPAND gun rights".
Please.
And all the Democrat mayors, governors, etc, etc, across the country crushed.
It was a good night.
