Further Spider-Woman thoughts.

So, I got thinking...

From last time..

Jessica Drew (as the character) is out.
Now she's Julia Carpenter, the redhead with the black suit from "Secret Wars".

It occurred to me about 30 minutes after hitting "send" that they went with Julia because Sony must be working with Disney to help set up all the characters for "Secret Wars"!

If it's a coincidence, it's one helluva coincidence.

Everyone else is either on the chessboard, or about to be.
Avengers, check.
X-Men (they'll be rebooted by then), check.
Fantastic Four (ditto), check.
Monica Rambeau, check.
She-Hulk, check.
Spidey (assuming Sony re-ups their sharing deal), check.
Venom (ditto), check.
Deadpool (ret-con via "Deadpool's Secret Secret Wars"), check.

Magneto & Doctor Doom as main human baddies (see X-Men & FF), check.
Doc Ock (optional, but possible due to "No Way Home"), check.

That only leaves Julia-Spidey, and boom, there she is.
(She's pretty pivotal too).

That's everyone.

Except Galactus and Beyonder.
And I have a theory that they'll either be replaced by the Celestials from "Eternals" or happen to be Celestials named Galactus and Beyonder.

Everything from phases 1-3 paid off in Infinity War/Endgame.
Everything in phases 4-5 has to pay off in "Secret Wars".
"Eternals" is a cul de sac.
Where's the payoff?
Celestials have to come into it somewhere.
That's the only slot for them.

I think "Age Of Kang" will be all the multiverse juggling to get the characters together, and "Secret Wars" will be the big "Endgame" finale style fight.

So, there's that, anyway.
