9/11 the 19th

We have this little plague going on right now, and every three days, we have the death toll of a 9/11, and....remember when it was actual 9/11, and we went to war, and tore a bunch of countries upside down just to punish one guy by murdering him in the face, and tossing him in the ocean?

Surely a 9/11 every three days has everyone even more riled up!
Right?
Nope!

Republicans in droves are saying it's a Democrat commie hoax, because America sucks and is full of morons who are literally partisan to the fucking death.

So....all that "rah rah America!", shit after 9/11?
Lies.
Bullshit dog-and-pony show.
But, we knew definitively the right was full of shit when they looked the other way for Trump's (and the NRA's) Russia treason after being so "booo, Russia!!", through the 80's.
There's not a single value these fuckers stand for.
Except greed.
They like that one.
That makes 'em coo like a baby to a bah-bah.

And you know who's the least sentimental about the 9/11 anniversary, or the covid-19 death count?
Rudy Giuliani.
The "mayor of 9/11".
All this asshole had to do was shut up and go away forever, and he would have gone down in history as a hero.
But no, he had to latch himself into Trump's knob, and now he's a cartoon joke.

Oh, and Trump just stole 4 million bucks from 9/11 victims.
But the right-wing threw victims under the bus as the shit was going on.
Anne Coulter springs to mind.

And Trump is impeachment proof, because Mitch McConnell says "fuck you, that's why!".

And Repugs think that's wonderful.

Maybe it's the racism.
Maybe 9/11 was outrageous to Americans because it was brown people blowing us up.
When a white guy genocides us, apparently, the response is "harder, daddy, harder!!!".

My mistake was in thinking we were all on the same page, or even the same brain-species.
Lesson learned.

America is a racist garbage dump of stupidity, and the parts of it I like are just these little bitty resistance pockets.

So, that's 9/11 almost 20 years out.
Yipee.

I think the official point where nobody liked Rudy anymore was when his own presidential campaign went belly up faster than Bloomberg's a few years back. People who had been praising him as a "tower of strength" on 9/12/2001 were calling him a glorified beat cop when little old Southern ladies decided not to let him be "parsident" years later.

James Woods played him in a TV movie, which shows how far the now-conservative Woods has fallen (in addition to possibly being a creep towards women)--Woods played--wait for it!--ROY COHN in 1992.

Yeah, I watched that James Woods Giuliani movie, and nothing about that is going to have aged well.

Gotta see the Roy Cohn movies sometime.

I don't really think anyone should bother with "Citizen Cohn" (the James Woods movie) when there's the two recent documentaries around. Cohn was also of course a key character played by Pacino in "Angels In America."
