"Affirmative action hire" = N-word.
"Comes from a good family" = White. Usually rich too. (Usually used in a courtroom when they're gonna let a spoiled brat go for rape, or vehicular homicide, or having pipe bombs he (it's always a boy) was going to use on his classmates)
"Comes from a bad neighborhood" = Black. (Usually used when they're about to give a black kid a life sentence for a bag of weed. They use neighborhood instead of family, cuz openly looking down their nose at the kids parents is a bad look, and they know it, so they have to make the dog-whistle an even higher pitch)
The deep state = Jews. (For Trump, Trumpers, and QAnoners, mostly)
The liberal media = Jews.
The mainstream media = Jews. Liberal Jews. (Fox News never counts, even though they brag about being #1 in the ratings)
The media (said the right way) = Jews.
Hollywood (said the right way) = Jews.
Hollyweird = Gays and Jews.

Special rights = LGBT people are being allowed to exist.
Threat/attack/assault on/to families = LGBT people are being allowed to exist, and we're gonna use pedophilia to scare you because we're scum. Cowardly dog-whistling scum.
Threat/attack/assault on/to marriage = LGBT people aren't just being allowed to exist, they're being allowed to be happy. People getting more freedom means you get less, because freedom is pie! A gay marriage makes you divorced! It's math! Jesus math!
Threat/attack/assault on/to female spaces = A man in a dress is going to rape you in the bathroom. = Trans people don't even exist, it's all a rape scam. (JK Rowling specializes in this dog whistle. I'm so fucking done with that bitch)
Snowflakes = Someone was offended when I was a bigot/asshole to them, and I think it's funny, cuz I'm an asshole. (these people turn right around and sob like little piss-babies over imaginary feminism in movies, and real racial diversity in movies. There's no area where conservative bigots aren't hypocrites)

"Get woke, go broke" = We're going to try to scare corporations into thinking they'll lose money if they express progressive values. (Captain Marvel and Black Panther both made over a billon dollars. Cuck = Your wife sleeps around, and that makes you weak and inferior. (Bigots think manhood is strength, and strength is a moral value, and to lack masculine strength is to be morally weak as well as physically weak. This is a stupid obsolete ancient belief that comes even before Christianity. Jesus says nothing about this. Jesus was a commie hippie. The Spartans from "300", were all gay lovers. Amazons were a thing. Rhonda Rosy is a thing. In fact, guys that believe in this masculine strength as morality bullshit probably cream over Rhonda Rousy. Oh, and Roger Stone and Jerry Falwell Jr. are actual cuckholds. But bigots are cricket chirp silent about that shit. I say again, there's no area where conservative bigots aren't hypocrites. Aaaanyway, there's nothing dog-whistly about the obvious meaning, but it is also a racist dog whistle. Guys in the cuckhold scene are into their wives being banged by a black guy. Beta = Weakling. Similar to snowflake. (This alpha-beta bullshit comes from a study on wolves. Wolf behavior has nothing to do with behavior of higher primates like humans. And if it did, the study was done on wolves in captivity. Wolves in captivity change their behavior like humans in prison. Bigots never could science properly.)
Beta cuck = Extra cuck. They're more often than not in combination. (Here, you get the implication that the person isn't just weak, but feminine, because bigots hate women. So, you get some homophobic/misogynist dog whistle on top of the racist dog whistle)

Alpha-beta: I see you watched that Adam Ruins Everything clip too.
I've kind of forgotten to watch any of his new stuff.
I like John Oliver but wish every Oliver video wasn't 20 minutes long. He usually only needs a fraction of that to explain himself.

I got sucked into an "Orphan Black", binge.
Dunno if you've seen it, or liked it, but I dug it a lot.
I can't remember where I first saw the alpha-beta thing, but I saw it on Adam Ruins Everything second.
I'm trying to rewatch GOT now and reading it alongside the books. The second book is already a doozy at 1,000 pages if you count all the family histories in the back.
You know, I'm not sure you need to read George R. R. Martin's work if you're a GOT fan or not--obviously the show would go on to diverge from the books in lots of ways, but the first book, "A Game Of Thrones," is IDENTICAL to the first season of the show, IDENTICAL except for perhaps the ages of the characters (Daenerys, for example, is supposed to be 13--eeewwww.)
The book does a little better at making important the backstory (the Mad Targaryen King, Rhaegar Targaryen, Lyanna Stark, Jamie as Kingslayer, etc.) by bringing it up a LOT, but that's kind of the only real advantage.
George R. R. Martin is a decent storyteller but not an exceptionally graceful "writer" (prose stylist)--he's really workmanlike and uses the word "said" over and over for every conversation--but I doubt his readers much care. He doesn't pad out his books with junk the way Stephen King does, so it really is just the story that stretches out the book to 700 pages. Huh.
Oh no, never saw "Orphan Black" at all. Get it confused with "Orange Is The New Black" a lot.
If I'm going to watch any remaining TV shows I haven't watched yet, it'll be the British "Office," "Community" and possibly "Mr. Robot."
GOT books- Nah, s'okay, the show was good enough for me.
Orphan Black- No rush, it took me over a decade to get around to West Wing, and Battlestar Galactica.
