So this year's Star Wars media thingies were "The Rise Of Skywalker", and "The Mandalorian".
I saw and enjoyed those.

And, I did "I Still Love Star Wars", as a long-delayed sequel to "I Love Star Wars".

Answering last year's predictions...

Hopefully news on the Benioff & Weiss trilogy.

It died, and it was their fault.
They're the assholes.

We probably won't hear anything about the Rian Johnson trilogy for a couple years.

Still no word.
But Kevin Feige is doing something, and that came out of nowhere.

Hopefully, something on the Cassian Andor series.

It's 5 years before Rogue One/A New Hope.

We won't be getting any movies until about 2021 at the earliest.

Yep.
Especially with the plague.
Might even be 2022.

The aftermath of TROS good or bad, and the reception of The Mandalorian will dominate Star Wars discussion in 2020.

Fans are just as split on TROS as TLJ, but the TLJ haters are somewhat appeased by TROS's ret-cons.
So, not as much bloodletting.
Thankfully.
Update: nope, the appeasement lasted for the first few weeks, then the whiners all started moaning that the sequel trilogy was pointless, and ruined their lives, and they retroactively hate "Force Awakens", now.
But the non-haters (and the poor cast) are just glad it's all over, and are hunkering in our bunkers with the discs.
Double update:
The viewership of the Disney+ Skywalker nonilogy marathon will be telling.
Betting a lot of hypocrisy will be exposed.

Baby Yoda from Mandalorian has taken the world by fucking storm.
He's the new Baby Groot.
Mando has permanently etched itself in pop-culture history already.

Update:
Everyone's excited as Hell for Rosario as Ahsoka, but are wondering how next season gets finished under the plague.
Oh, and there are of course whiners that the voice actress of the cartoon isn't playing the live-action version instead of Rosario.

Even if TROS is the greatest movie ever made by humans, it'll have trolls.

Oh, Hell yeah.

Mandalorian will be loved better by old-school fans justified or not.

It's petty justified.

There'll be immediate approval of a second season.

Yep!

Dave Filoni will be tapped for a SW movie, probably in the B &W trilogy.

No word on him doing a movie, but definitely not in the B&W trilogy.
