They're casting Temuera Morrison as Boba in Mandalorian season 2!!

Boba surviving.
Palpatine surviving.
Leia having force powers and a lightsaber.
Holocrons being canon.

That's all the ingredients for "Dark Empire".
IMHO, they should just go ahead, and do "Dark Empire", as an "...a Star Wars Story", movie.
Put it after Mandalorian, and before "Force Awakens".

*Sigh* they won't though.

Anyway, my fan theory?
Boba won't be the badass the fanboys want him to be.
It'll turn out the Sarlacc messed him all up, and he's an old cripple, and he'll pass the torch to Mando just before he dies.

OR, I could be wrong, and Boba will go out like a badass "Scarface", style.

I'll take either one.
It's all in how they execute it.
