I haven't bothered to cover this, because its in Development Hell, but if I bothered with Thunderbolts, may as well.
The Blade reboot.
With Mahershala Ali as Blade.
This JoBlo article covers every twist and turn, but the short version is, they've been through at least 5 writers, and 2 directors.
At least.
It was supposed to come out in 2021, 22, 23, 24, and now 25.
I'll believe this movie exists when I see the trailer.
I did not know that the voice that talks to Black Knight at the end of "Eternals" was Ali as Blade.
That was the setup for reboot-Blade.
Which, again, was supposed to drop 3 damned years ago.
We're not getting Black Knight, we're getting Blade with Black Knight's sword.
So, the two big payoffs for "Eternals" are Tiamat as the source of Adamantium (see part 1), and Black Knight's sword.
And oh yeah, Eternals 2 is dead, but it's getting folded into something else.
Kevin Feige is being as sneaky about that as the asterisk in Thunderbolts*.
So, that's that one.
