So, the news is 3 days old now.
Disney has bought Lucasfilm for 4 billion dollars (and some change) and, we're getting the sequel trilogy starting in 2015.
Lucas won't be involved, except in an advisory capacity, like with Clone Wars, so, (theoretically) it won't be ruined this time.
Dammit, George, you did it again.

So, naturally wanting a return on that investment, Disney wants to churn these babies out every 2 years, instead of every 3, so that means, 2015, 2017, and 2019....which lands on the 20th anniversary of "The Phantom Menace".
That's...going to be an interesting milestone.
Also, they're going to bust out of the holy decree of 3 trilogies, and go full-on James Bond/Star Trek with it, and make them forever.
Well....I dunno, I had packed my 'Wars fandom away in a deep cold dusty corner of the attic of my mind, it's hard to whip out the rickety ladder, and crawl up in there, and dig it all back out again.
But....I've got 3 years to muster it all up, I guess.
