Going all the way back to "Disney/Fox Part 8: It begins!!!".
Two years after the first announcement, and 4 years ago.
Again, I had a bunch of questions, and now I have some answers....
We have heard from Bob Iger that Fox studios, Fox Searchlight, Fox network, and FX are going to keep their names and logos, and that movies will still come out under the Fox brand.
Dunno why they haven't changed the networks.
Inertia?
As for the brand, yes, it's pretty much for Alien, Predator, and Apes.
And Deadpool is going to have his own R rated pocket universe for Deadpool 3, and X-Force.
No word if it'll still be Fox, or a special Marvel Knights brand, or what.
It seems like its going to be the latter.
Nope, they're just going to allow Deadpool to be R in the MCU.
Dunno if it'll be a Fox-MCU hybrid for the logos in the front.
We have seen a wrecked Fox logo in a wasteland in the set pics.
X-Force is dead.
Other R rated properties besides Deadpool can/will come out under this brand.
Blade, maybe?
Ghost Rider?
Maybe. Reboot-Blade is plagued with problems.
It's looking more and more likely New Mutants will come straight to streaming instead of theaters.
That sucks.
I was really looking forward to that.
It's not great.
It's a shame Stan didn't live to see it. :(
"No Way Home" and "Multiverse Of Madness" he would have loved.
The rest of Marvel is struggling.
Covid and Trump broke the machinery of the universe.
