The Disney-Fox deal 6 years later.

Yeah, this took awhile, didn't it?

Let's go all the way back to "Finally!! Fucking finally!!!!".
I had a bunch of questions, and now I have some answers....

Will the Brian Singer X-Men verse continue?
If so, for how long?

Long enough for Deadpool 3, and then it's gone.

Will R rated Deadpool movies continue?
If so, for how long?

Deadpool 3, then it's gone.
The character will live on in the other MCU movies though.

Will Disney make R rated Marvel films under another brand, like Touchstone?

"Echo" is about a Native-American super heroine, and it's as R rated as the Netflix-verse, and it's under the new Marvel Spotlight banner. So, yes.
As a carve-out for Fox stuff? No.

Will the X-Men all be rebooted and recasted, like Spider-Man was?

Yes.

Will Deadpool be immune to the reboot, and make a joke about it?

Yes.

Will Phase 4 be a long arc involving Fantastic Four?

No.
We're into phase 5 no with no rebooted Fantastic Four in sight.
But, we got an alternate Reed Richards in "Multiverse Of Madness" and we're supposed to get Tim Story's FF in Deadpool 3.

Will FF be rebooted?
(They'd better be!)

Yes.

Will we be slave to Disney's planned slate, and we'll get less movies, or will all the Fox employees get to double up on production?
Y'know, like how Sony technically produced "Spider-Man: Homecoming"?

Yes to the former, no to the latter.
Fox is absorbed, and gone, and pillaged for resources.
They've been plugging the cameos into existing movies, and Deadpool 3 is the last real Fox movie.

Will the Fox logo and fanfare still be a thing?
(I bet not)

How soon can we expect the inevitable crossovers?

"Multiverse Of Madness" took 5 fucking years from this announcement to drop, so...awhile, yeah.

What if anything will the crossover flicks bump out?
OR, will the characters be dropped into already slated flicks, like Spidey into "Civil War", and "Infinity War"?

Nothing to the former, yes to the latter.
Deadpool 3 is the only odd-duck to the carved-in-stone Marvel slate.
We got Xavier and Reed in "Multiverse Of Madness" and we're allegedly getting Beast in "The Marvels".
Then, Deadpool and Wolverine are supposed to be in "Secret Wars".
Deadpool 3 is going to do all the heavy lifting of tying up Fox.
Fox is done, but the existing X-Men films exist, and are retroactive MCU.

So many questions....

And now you have answers, past-me.
Enjoy.

I might do more of these to fill more stuff in.....
