Happy New Year!!! (2025)

Went with a circuit pattern to evoke the ansible/churten from the Hainish series.
Ansible = FTL communicator.
Churten = beaming a person or ship through, but it causes weird reality-scrambling side-effects.

Maybe someone fucked up our timeline by churtening.
Sure feels like it.

Christmas 2024.

Pretend ol' Floppy-Hat-Shevek is Space-Santy-Claus. 😉😏
Free presents; free ansible/churten, it tracks. 😆

Had to use a book I already have, cuz as of writing this entry (12/23/24), I dunno if the mailman is gonna pull Christmas off this year. 😓🤷‍♂️
Update- Nope, he failed miserably. 👎😒

TIL: Richard Matheson.

Previously-

Okay! Billdude mentioned Matheson in the comments, and I know how prolific Matheson is, and how much of his stuff I've already reviewed here.
So, I figured I'd pull it all together like the other TILs.

Evil Dead Burn!

Yeah, I said here that I was throwing in the towel on all the old 80's horror franchises, but I'll stick it through for Evil Dead until I at least know the titles.

Well, the one pitched by Sebastien Vanicek is now called "Evil Dead Burn" and is coming out first.
Thus, is officially Evil Dead 6.

Making the one by Francis Galluppi officially Evil Dead 7.
Which still hasn't picked a title, but I guess there's time.
Unless the world blows up or something.
Then we won't need horror movies, it'll be life.
Whee!!

RIP, SSU (AKA "the Venom-verse")

Yep, Sony's finally thrown in the towel.

MCU least-loved sequels revisit.

AKA: So, Marvel...Part 2.

My observations on these two flicks kind of evolved into a sequel.
This is more on the political/moral philosophy of Marvel rather than the business side of things.
Which makes it a better companion to the DC one.

Trumpers: every accusation is a confession.

Only a matter of time until this post happened.
Put it right next to "Storm is a Nazi".
Here we fuckin' go!

So, Marvel...

To go with DC, I guess...

My reservations about future-Marvel aren't as bad as for DC, but they're there.
So much so, I don't think I'm gonna see them all in the theater.
But I was drifting way from that, anyway.
