Superheroes Five: Part 4, All The Rest.

Sorry for the delay, had too many shows to chew through.
Including Ash.

Anyhoo...

Last year.

Superheroes Four: Part 3, All The Rest.

Ghostbusters

Where were we last time with this?

Oh, yeah, it wasn't even casted yet.
Now it is.

Melissa McCarthy- Abby Yates
Kristen Wiig- Erin Gilbert
Leslie Jones- Patty Tolan
Kate McKinnon- Jillian Holtzmann

And Chris Hemsworth is sort of their male Janine.

Also, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, and Annie Potts are in it in cameos.

Allegedly, (and this might be Sony's and Aykroyd's pipe dream) Ghostbusters is going to be a cinematic universe.
There's allegedly a Channing Tatum led male Ghostbusters after the female one.
No word on that one at all.
There's supposedly an animated Ghostbusters film in development.

Hi-C is bringing back Ecto-cooler for the new Ghostbusters.
That one's the only one that seems solid.

And here's some cast pics.

Star Trek

Star Trek 3 is "Star Trek Beyond".
Idris Elba is the villain.
It's a new character, not a rehash like Khan in "Into Darkness".
Simon Pegg wrote it.
Justin Lin from "Fast & Furious", is directing it.
False-alarm rumor that Shatner was in it.

Star Wars

Star Wars Day 4 rolled around.

And then all this happened....

Han Solo and Boba Fett.
First look at first poster, and Rogue One cast.
Rogue One logo.
Better image of first TFA poster.
Final TFA poster.
Timeline graphic tinkering.
The big TFA trailer.

...and then there were a million other littler ads, but dammit, Disney, I'm sold, you can just twiddle your thumbs and wait for the 18th like the rest of us.

Also, these tidbits.

Forest Whitaker is in Rogue One
Donnie Yen has been cast in both "Rogue One", and Episode VIII.
Colin Trevorrow confirmed for director of Episode 9.
Rumored that we'd get an un-specialed blu-ray of the original trilogy, but that was hot air.
Casting for young Han Solo has begun.

Transformers.

Transformers is going to be a cinematic universe.
Ugh!!
But...Robert Kirkman (The Walking Dead), Zak Penn (The Incredible Hulk), Jeff Pinker (Fringe, Lost), Art Marcum and Matt Holloway (Iron Man), are being called in as writers.
The next five Transformers are plotted out.
The next couple are a live-action part 5, and an animated prequel set on Cybertron.
Fuck hope, it's all gonna blow.

Ninja Turtles

The reboot came out, and some people who are usually trustworthy said it wasn't horrible.

Only new development (that I know of) is Stephen Amell "Arrow", will play Casey Jones in TMNT 2.

Terminator

Genisys came out, and I reviewed it.
Ehhh...it was all right.
They clearly bribed Jim Cameron to praise it.
It made just enough worldwide to justify a sequel, but I'm not holding my breath.

Tron 3?
Dead.
As a doornail.

Ron Perlman has hinted strongly that there may in fact be a Hellboy 3.
I think he's just trying to will it into existence at this point.
Not holding my breath.

George Miller has said that not only is the next Mad Max coming, the title is “Mad Max: The Wasteland".

Dwayne "The Rock", Johnson wants to remake "Big Trouble In little China".
Forgot to put this in the Halloween "Masters Of Horror", update, under John Carpenter.

The Dark Tower series of books will be a series of films, and an interlinking TV series.
Sony has the rights.
Forgot to put this in Halloween under Stephen King.

A crowdfunding effort has gone up for a "Dragon's Lair", movie based on the games.

And that's those.

Next up, Superhero TV.
