Clarice at last!!

Short version, Clarice Starling the show.

I've heard about this show since "Hannibal", the series was on the air so...*Googles* about 5 damned years ago!

See, the rights for Red Dragon, Hannibal, and Hannibal Rising are with one rights holder, and Silence Of The Lambs, and the rights to Clarice Starling, are with another rights holder.

Which is why "Hannibal", (show, not movie) couldn't use Clarice, nor adapt Lambs.

AND, why a separate Clarice show was in development for Lifetime network.
Well, that clearly fell apart, but now it's going ahead under CBS.

CBS has "Evil", and I've heard that that pushes the edges, so the time may be just right for "Clarice".

Anyway, the show would fit in between the 10 year gap between Lambs and Hannibal (film, not show), and have Clarice hunting other killers.

No casting yet for the titular heroine.
She'll have big shoes to fill after Jodie Foster and Julienne Moore.

BUT, Mads Mikkelson ended up being cooler than Anthony Hopkins, so you never know who you're gonna find!
