Meedyah Morsels #44.

In "I don't h8 the 90's anymore (Part 7)", I talked about my old ritual of collecting Star Trek TV Guides.

Here those are again.

From the rise of DS9, to the end of Enterprise.

But, TV Guide ceased publication, so I couldn't continue it into Discovery.

Ahah! I CAN continue it!
The Entertainment Weekly covers!!

There we go.
Up to date.
Now I'm ready for the Return Of Picard series.

Man, I haven't even picked up an EW in at least a decade....when I was a kid I read every issue cover to cover. But they were better when I was a kid (dumb celebrity gossip crap and all.)

I am not recommending the assassin thriller "You Were Never Really Here" if that was anywhere near your radar.

"Metropolis," from 1927, though, was pretty good! (Simplistic in the way of a Biblical parable but still pretty stunning in terms of its vision.)

Oh Dude! I remember being so excited for those 35th anniversary covers of TV guide! There was even a special edition magazine where two of my friends who went to a Sacramento convention were quoted in. One of them didn't even know he'd made it into the magazine until I brought mine to school! 😂

I used to collect them, too! They're probably around here...somewhere.

BD- I just like them for their covers, and their scoops for big things like Star Wars.
I can get all that online.

"You Were Never Really Here" cheerfully avoided.

"Metropolis",....I think I've seen it.
Can't remember if it was the restored cut though.
