- Fucking amazing!!!!
- Watch out for spoilers, the internet is full of bastards.
- Better than Force Awakens.
- Better than Rogue One.
- Better than all of the EU novels combined!!!
- All the bitch-boys that whined "it's a rehash of ANH!", about TFA can fuck off and die now.
- Ditto the "eeew, Disney's gonna stay playing it safe", brigade. Haha!! NOPE!!
- There's sprinkles of humor, but this one gets pretty damned dark.
- Luke Skywalker is awesome. He gets the character growth and depth that Han got in Empire. No, MORE.
- If you didn't love Rey before, holy shit will you here!
- Fuck, they'll make you care about Kylo!!
- Finn's side-story...meh.
- Holy shit, did they give Leia a lot to do! If you're still shaken by Carrie Fisher's RL death, you'll bawl at some scenes.
- The Porgs are not the new Ewoks.
- None of the best parts are in the trailers. Whatever story you made up from the trailers, nope. WRONG!
- I can't say much without spoiling. There's no one big "Luke I am your father", scene, there's revelations and twists sprinkled all over it like pizza toppings!
- The Star Wars galaxy is good and shaken up by this. J.J. Abrams has a high bar to leap over for Episode 9.
- How do I rank it? Oh...shit,....I dunno. I gotta mull it over. Somewhere in the vicinity of Empire. Equal, just behind by an atom, or maybe even better.
- Think I gotta see it again. Maybe thrice. Lot to digest in there.
I don't have to say "go see it", of course you're going to see it.
Just know, the prequel days are long gone, this one will make you really fucking happy.
Next time...damn, Black Panther.

Just behind Empire by an atom.
Just got back from TLJ for a second viewing.
I know, took me a fucking while, but Maine's had lethal weather.
Plus, family health issue shit.
The usual.
Winter's always a nightmare.
Anyhoo, the flick.
Still love it.
I think I'll keep it where I ranked it last time.
The flaws stand out more, but the stuff I loved stood out WAY more, so while it's not a perfect movie, it still brings me joy, and that's what movies are for.
And the fanboy backlash-ers can go eat a feces pot pie.
This time through, I was mostly spotting little details I missed last time.
(And yeah, the movie's been out long enough, I'm doing spoilers now)
Kylo's scar having a brown rotten look to it at the very end.
Astral-Luke not leaving footprints.
Stuff like that.
Drive home was interesting.
My path home from this particular theater has a lot of twisty back roads, and I've never navigated it at night.
I'm here typing, so I did it.
Turns out the major corners I have to turn, despite being out in the sticks, have their own street lights.
Sweet!
The switch for the brights, and the turn signal is touchy as fuck though.

No wonder I avoid night driving whenever I can.
So, there's my twice for the annual Star Wars, and this is my first time using comments for the second viewing instead of a separate post.
Now, if only Disney would drop a fucking "Solo: A Star Wars Story", poster and trailer.
