Last time on this subject, I posted that the release date on New Mutants had been bumped to April 3rd, 2020.
Simon Kinberg (producer on the Fox-verse X-Men flicks) has confirmed that Disney bumped it ahead to complete the reshoots that Fox wanted to do, but delayed endlessly.
If they're shelling out for reshoots, then it'll be theatrical.
You don't fiddle-dick around like this for a Hulu movie.
So, while I wish it had come out this summer, at least I can breathe easy that it is coming out in a venue I can see.
And...maybe...just maybe....Marvel might use these reshoots to connect it to the MCU.
