Like I said yesterday in the Ozzy Osbourne and Rob Reiner ones, I was still reeling from the loss of my mother, so I didn't keep up on these. Almost a year later, I can finally tackle 'em now.
Struzan did more movie posters than you can shake a stick at.
The protagonist in "The Mist" was a poster artist, so they got Struzan to do the poster, and had David be the Struzan of the King-verse, and have his art up in his studio. Including the ones for "Shawshank" and "Green Mile".
I'll always love that weird little meta-tribute.
It made me smile when I re-watched "The Mist" for my latest read-a-thon of King books.
Off the top of my head....
He did the 9 Star Wars saga films.
He did the Indiana Jones-es.
He did The Harry Potters. (Yeah, I know, JK sucks)
He did a honking shitload of the Star Wars novels without anyone blowing the trumpet
Yeah, he got around.

BLADE RUNNER!!!! He did that one!!! And then he did an even better new poster for the "Final Cut" Blade Runner 2-disc DVD!! I had the four disc but considered buying the 2 disc along side it just to have it in my collection to look at!!!...but didn't.
I'll have my own Drew Struzan death moment when Roger Dean passes...which is any day now, Dean is 81. We already lost Storm Thorgeson in 2013, so....
