Some last minute Clarice stuff.

Okay, here we go...

First, we've got a poster.
And yep, it's been bumped from March to...Thursday of this week!

We've got a couple trailers..

And, we've got casting/plot news!

Trans actress/activist Jen Richards has been cast as a character that discusses Buffalo Bill's 'complicated legacy'.

From the article....

“All I can say is that the character intersects with Clarice’s storyline in a way that her transness isn’t central to her storyline, but her identity as a trans woman prompts her to discuss with Clarice the complicated legacy of Buffalo Bill,” Richards said during a virtual premiere event for “Clarice” on Monday night.

Richards initially thought she was just going to help the writers and producers “craft the character and make sure some younger, prettier trans actress had a good experience on set,” she admitted, but she ended up cast in the role she helped shape.

Buffalo Bill has pissed off the LGBT community since "Lambs" first came out, so I was worried about how they were gonna work with that.
Looks like they're tackling it head on.
So, I'm even more interested and excited now.

The Hannibal series did a good job of fixing the problematic elements of Verger's lesbian sister, so I was hoping this show and its producers would be as smart.
I'll have to see it to be sure, but it's looking good.
