Yeah, what the Hell, let's do this one too...
The first live-action movie connects to RGB through the episode "Take Two" where the animated guys run around in the background of the making of the movie, and then go to the premiere.
Then that covers the whole GB1, GB2, Afterlife, and Frozen Empire continuity.
Then "Answer The Call" has an ad for "The Goldbergs" in the background, and "The Goldbergs" makes many references to original GB1, so ATC exists in a world where "Ghostbusters" is a movie.
Except here the girls copy the movie instead of the movie being made of the animated guys.
So, we're triple-layer meta by the time we get to ATC.
ANYWAY! ATC is what makes Ghostbusters an HPL rebuttal-quel.
Donald Trump gave it his personal stamp of disapproval.
Trump and Lovecraft both kiss the Klan and Hitler.
Lovecraft turned on Hitler later on, but he wrote shit under the daydream fog of eugenics he never took back.
So, yeah.
Oh, don't mistake me, as far as feminist Molotov cocktails thrown at the Lovecraft-verse go, "Helen's Story" and "Vellitt Boe" are way better and more powerful.

So!! I know I said I wasn't gonna do Ghostbuster anniversaries anymore, but fuck it; I'm gonna do the 10th anniversary of ATC.
