Been slooowly digging through Ma's old books.
Mostly, I've been finding and saving old classics for a far, far, distant read-a-thon after I write my own book.
But! As you can see in the image, I found a goddamned Ramsey Campbell!
It comes recommended by Stephen King in the front, and Peter Straub on the back.
King and Straub would go on to do "The Talisman" together.
So, Campbell was in the clubhouse.
I wasn't gonna go out of my way to go down a Campbell hole; but one book for free?
Fuck it. On the pile.
