Happy 10th Anniversary, Star Wars: The Force Awakens!!

The birth of the Disney-Wars era, and what many would deem "the beginning of the end".
If so, the exact ones doing the complaining pushed Humpty Dumpty.
The fandom being unpleasable psychopaths has Disney suits all tied up in scaredy-cat reactionary knots.

I covered all of that well enough in the Sith anniversary.

So, this is about the only movie ever I saw 4 times at the theater.

A solid decade now, and still no Rey Skywalker sequel.
I think Rey is going to double the waiting time of "Freddy vs Jason".
That's my craps table bet. I'm putting the chip down on it.

As for Disney-Wars, I still think its best offering is "The Last Jedi".
At least cinematically. Still haven't seen "Andor".
Anyway, I covered my thoughts on TLJ here.

The older it gets, and the more "Knives Out" movies drop, the more I see Rian Johnson as a subversive gift to mankind.
He's the backdoor leftist heir to Lloyd Kaufman that James Gunn failed to be.
Yeah, I said it. I ain't un-saying it.
Lefty better, James Gunn.

And Hollywood desperately wants to make their movies bigger, gaudier, and cheaper with AI, and I want no part of it.
When AI takes over movies, I'm quitting movies.

When AI ruins books, I'm jumping into a log chipper.

Um....so yeah.

I liked the first two of the three Disney Star Wars films but feel little to no attachment to them. The goal of TFA was to simply make a non-embarrassing Star Wars movie to "get things back on track" and it did and that's the best you could really say for it, right?

Have you noticed that all the complaints that crypto-currency blockchains were using so much electricity that they were destroying the environment, have mutated into AI slop destroying the environment? And literally nobody likes it or cares for it? I'm wondering if AI is going to go down as humanity's stupidest biggest failure thingy ever.

I think I said it before, the only ones excited about AI are tech-bros, and the zombie actors in their ads. The fact they don't just AI slop the ads shows even they kinda know it's inhuman, and creepy, and we need seducing by meat-traitors.
