Live-action Spider-verse confirmed!!

Yep, it's happening.

Updated from last time.

Andrew Garfield and Kirsten Dunst are casted!!

Toby McGuire is still in talks.

Alfred Molina is coming back as Doc Ock.

They're also trying to get Emma Watson as Gwen Stacy.

They need a third villain to balance the 3 Spideys, so I'm hoping they're still trying to get Dane DeHann as Green Goblin #3.
No word on him though.

I've also heard a rumor of Vincent D'Onofrio as Kingpin (as the string-pulling villain), but it's a faint rumor.
That'd be sweet, as it would also canonize the Marvel/Netflix shows once and for all.

People in comments sections have pointed out that Doc Ock and Gwen are dead in their respective series.
That's easy enough to solve.
If you're playing with alternate universes, then they're just alternate-alternate versions that didn't die.
Or, Dr. Strange plucks them out of time before they die, and then puts them back with their new memories erased to restore history.
Like putting the Infinity Stones back.

It's also been pointed out, since this canonizes Raimi Spider-Man, and Webb Spider-Man, then Spider-Man 3 is really Spider-Man 8!
9 if they tie "Into The Spider-Verse" in.
They've got to, even if it's a little Easter egg type of thing.
I'm betting they will.

So, that's that.
Stay tuned for more news.
I'm sure more is coming.
