I didn't know he had an acting cameo in "Martin." I only knew about him dragging Jodie Foster away from Anthony Hopkins' cell in "Silence Of The Lambs." Hey, he's a better actor than Stephen King....

What'd you think of "Land of The Dead"? I thought it was fairly good for what it was...and it was nice to see a Dead film with better actors. He seems to take an ungodly amount of crap for it though!
Oh and RIP Martin Landau too, "Ed Wood" alone is pretty immortal...
Yeah, I don't get the hate for Land at all. I love it. I think it's right up there with the classic trilogy. It's what he wanted Day to be, but he couldn't get the budget then.
I don't know if the "Empire Of The Dead", AMC miniseries is dead now, or just stuck in development. The prequel his son is/was working on, I haven't heard a damned thing. And George was going to do one that was...zombies meet Nascar. That, um...yeah...I dunno, but, if anyone could have made that work, he could have.
Crap, you're right, I gotta do one for Landau too, my fandom for "Ed Wood", is smeared all over this blog.

Longtime Romero Collaborator Matt Birman says George had 4 unproduced scripts, including "Road Of The Dead", that he's determined to get made.
