"Weird-fiction-verse" which covers this whole Poe/Machen/Lovecraft/King quest I've been on.
Lovecraft coined the term, and fan-authors still use it. Even saw an anthology called "Never Again: Weird Fiction Against Racism and Fascism" that came out in the 2010's.

Well, one of the things that was going to slow down AI was the thermal limit of having to cool all these goddamn server farms. They've solved that. But they can't solve this one. There's not enough money. The bubble is going to pop. Yeah, I'm an AI luddite. AI searches suck, AI art is soulless, and all the worst people on Earth are the ones that have their hands on the buttons. There's no "good guys" in this fucking "AI boom". The only ones telling us it's wonderful are tech bros, and investors, and speculators, and glassy eyed zombie commercials. Ain't no regular people I know doing cartwheels over having an overrated Clippy messing with their documents.
As usual, I love the commentary. I agree, I hope BOC sues.
