Happy 50th birthday to myself!

Thanks for the birthday well wishes everyone! Had...an okay time. Had the family over, and we gorged and laughed. Ma's absence didn't catch up to me until the very end when everyone was leaving. Got a little tingle-eyed. Ma's gone, I'm 50, Trump's president. All of this feels like a weird fucking dream.
Yup, we lost Ma. Here's that.

Poe-read-a-thon 2!!!
Added a special surprise bonus book.
Finished all the reading on June 29th.
These were hard to boil down, so the review fought with me to begin with.
It all seemed rather pointless to keep going with it; but, I came up with a sequel idea that ties it into a memorial for Ma, so that gave me strength again.
But! Before I can get to that, I have to do this one! So, here we go!

Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Yhep, Spidey 4 got a title.
Title's been out for awhile, but it got backlogged with the long delay on my Edgar Allan Poe sequel review post.
Still chipping away at that. It'll get done someday.
The books are all read, its just the review part that's arm wrestling me.
Losing a parent didn't help.
Stuff like this is easier. Maybe this will unclog my brain faucet.

Whelp....
Even before Ma passed, I had depressions bad enough I had to logically reason myself out of bed with "if I stay here all day, I'll eventually piss and shit the bed, and that'll create another fucking bill, so I may as well get up and empty my fluids, and if I'm gonna do that, then I'm up and around, and may as well proceed with my day".
That would get me to the kitchen to eat, and to the computer.
And then part of keeping alive and healthy is keeping sane, so I gotta do my hobbies.
And that includes posting about stupid movie shit.
But it seems so dumb now.
But, Ma kept up her hobbies after Gram & Gramp passed, so....
Guess I'm doing a dumb movie post...sigh...
