Dems took the Senate, and if Repubs get the house, it'll be a slim majority.
And all of Trump's picks got kicked in the groin.
And all the anti-abortion measures got smashed, and the pro-abortion measures won.
So, the good guys finally got off their asses, and saved the country in our darkest hour.
The ending of "The Rise Of Skywalker" actually happened.
Holy shit.
And the one big Repub winner, Desantis, won by gerrymandering, and Trump hates him, and he's willing to burn the Elephant party to the ground to fight him.
And Garland has finally re-attached his balls, and is going to indict Orange Mussolini.
I'm mad at the allegedly liberal media.
CNN is dead to me.
CNN were the biggest doomsayers.
They were like "Red wave!!! Red wave!! Abandon all hope!! It's gonna be like the wind from a nuke that shatters your house into splinters!! There's nothing you can do to brace yourseeeeeeelf!! This is the end!! This is the eeeeend!!!! Here it cooooomes!!! Heeere iiiitt coooommess!!!! AAAAAAAHHH!!!!!!"
MSNBC had those doom-and-gloomers too, but they had optimists too.
And Biden was an optimist.
Cheers to Biden!
So, yeah.
The fight against evil never ends, but they took a big fat L this week.
Next up, let's get Trump in a cell already.
Let's get that to happen.

Doomsday: Bill Maher's "I'm a realist about this--democracy's dead" rant two weeks ago looks REALLY dumb right now. Of course, I guess they really could have won. Twenty-five years ago, a candidate like Herschel Walker would have been laughed off the face of the planet, but now he actually has legitimacy.
Maher is so f***ing inconsistent. At his worst, we get his dumb rant about "Nomadland" where he used it as an example of why Americans would rather go watch "Godzilla vs. Kong," saying "if your movie is so woke, why can't I stay awake watching it?" I don't even think he SAW "Nomadland," he just assumed it had something to do with "woke." Or his rant in the middle of COVID in summer 2020 where he urged young people to drop their masks and dare to go to the beach. Uh, okay.
Or every other rant he does, which is the same generic attack on young people and smartphones that he's probably done fifty times in the last five years.
For me, the worst part of all this is the anxiety that's going to surround EVERY election until Trump croaks, or maybe every election ever again. EVERY election will be "if the Republicans win, no more democracy!" Aggghhhhhhhhh.
Castlevania series: gee, I hope the voice acting is better than in SOTN, my buddies in high school and I used to snicker all the time at lines like "Die monster! You don't belong in this world!" and "It was not by MY hand that I am once again given FLESH!!" and the way Death says "ahhhh, Alluuucaaaard!" Only "Resident Evil" 1 was worse.
As you may already know, Bill Maher was already 99.9999% dead to me for being a Jordan Peterson bootlicker.
This election finished that last little bit off.
Castlevania: Malcom McDowall is Death in the show, and he cusses a blue streak.
I shit you not.
Well I certainly hope McDowell does well if it's just his voice. His live-action performances in recent years had gotten pretty bad, I shudder thinking about him phoning in his performance in the Rob Zombie "Halloween."
BTW, I didn't notice this had happened last July, the woman who sang that song in "Silence Of The Lambs" that Buffalo Bill dances around to with his junk tucked under his butt? She died. There's going to be a documentary about her because she disappeared in the mid 90s and people had no idea what the hell had happened to her.

The woman who played the blowjob ghost in Ghostbusters 1 died. She was only in her 60's.
Also, The Daily Wire is remaking "Atlas Shrugged" as a series.
Y'know what? Go for it. People will get to see the suckitude of that book and its turd philosophy. Again.
I mean, in that story, Randism literally needs Vibranium and the arc reactor to work.
And not even then!
Maybe it'll bankrupt The Daily Wire like the shitty movie trilogy did the last asshole.
That'd be super.
"People will get to see...Again."
The movies that came out a decade or so ago and which got laughed off the face of the planet by everybody who isn't Penn Jillette weren't "seen" by much of anybody, in part because I think the novel's status as a rite of passage for young conservatives requires you to shut up in a room all alone (probably your mom's basement) and read all 1150 pages of it. I guess a series would have time to waste on all the details and suchlike.
What IS getting seen is the Weird Al movie starring Harry Potter, which has given him quite a nice burst of publicity--it's getting really good reviews and supposedly the mixture of real life details and total exaggeration is very funny. I'll see it!!!
I'll see the Weird Al movie when it drops on disk.
I'll see if I can get it along with "The Compleat Al" which is a mockumentary version of his life story he did before "UHF".
I've already got "UHF".
Oh, yeah, and some lame dillhole flagged 6 of my ancient mummy posts from kajillion years ago as offensive.
The Google cops just put that "I accept this post is naughty, and will proceed" button page in front of them.
I got 'em all re-instated.
Mild inconvenience. Like Superman's cellophane S trick.
I dunno if it was a random stranger, or one of my regular troll enemies from a board.
How irksome.
People suck. They seem to suck harder since Trump.
People actually are paying $100 for digital pictures of Trump with lasers coming out of his eyes. THEY ACTUALLY ARE DOING IT.
That's all you need to know.
I've heard a theory that the Trump NFT scam is a money laundering thing for shady foreign investors.
Course, that doesn't mean that regular redneck suckers aren't still buying them.
Also!! "The Keep" is being remade!
https://www.darkhorizons.com/nicotero-to-direct-new-the-keep-film/
They've said he isn't making money off of it...but...he's making money off of it. Somehow. You just know he is.
"The Keep" wasn't really properly finished the first time, and rumors that Mann has been for years planning on going back and finishing it or doing a director's cut have had to be repeatedly shot down.
It's not a terribly widely seen film anyway, so a remake isn't entirely unwelcome, either.
