Think the first time I heard it was in regard to the 007 series in regard to "Casino Royale".
First of all, it doesn't make sense. If you reboot your computer, all your shit is still there.
...unless they're saying a whole canon of films was lazily jotted on a notepad file, and not saved.
Wouldn't "root sector reformat", be more appropriate?
The Shumacher Batmans were a damaged sector, the files became corrupt, and unstable, core registry files could no longer load, and there had to be a hard reformat off backup CD.
